sunnyday Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 .............a long and very happy retirement :1b (So........having totally 'messed up' and mistakenly decided that Cait wasn't in fact retiring yet - imagine my 'horror' when I discovered that yes she has retired  .......I have apologised to her - would have sent a card at the very least....... then it occured to me that I know she has helped so many forum users in many different ways)...... Decided that we should have thread dedicated to Cait! For me Cait has become a real friend albeit a virtual one - there are not many days that we don't have an email chat :1b and we have shared many highs and lows both professional and personal over the past five years....... Please add to this thread in tribute to a truly lovely lady as she hangs up her pre-school boots! :1b 10 Quote
BevE Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Ahhh Happy Retirement Cait. I hope you will still be contributing to the Forum, as like Sunnyday I have got used to seeing you everywhere on it xx 2 Quote
Froglet Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 I want to say something too but I'm not quite sure what. You write so many friendly, helpful things and I have really loved joining in those long, rambling, banter filled threads that often have you there. You were part of the first one I ever felt brave enough to join in and made me feel so welcome! 2 Quote
finleysmaid Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 well cait i am often to be found at pre-school quoting your sage advice! how you do what you achieve on the level of funding i do not know. If you come down south make sure you pop in.Love to you and your family (thank you sunnyday for a fab introduction too!) 2 Quote
Panders Posted July 23, 2014 Posted July 23, 2014 Dear Cait, one of the first to welcome anyone to the Forum and often the very first to give or offer advice whether here or PM. As said before me, please don't disappear from the forum you would be missed far too much. I will wish you a happy retirement from your current pre-school but feel that once you have re-settled you may well go looking for a little something else. 2 Quote

newbury Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Happy retirement to you Cait! It's such a long-standing joke at pre-school when I discover one of your brilliant posts and most useful forms etc. and show my two members of staff who always say "Is that from Cait?" and when Ofsted were so impressed with "My Unique Child" they did explain it was from "my friend Cait". Although we have never met I feel I know you and will so miss your words of wisdom. You have so much knowledge and I appreciate how generous you have been in sharing this with us all. xx 3 Quote
Rea Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Good grief, seems just yesterday you were telling us you were retiring next year. I hope you fall happily and easily into retirement, I'll bet you had a massive send off from all the families you've been part of. I've been here 10 years and i'm pretty sure you have been too, thanks for the wonderful, level headed advice and ideas you've shared over the years. 3 Quote

You have always been so kind, supportive, knowledgeable and wise. You are always willing to share your thoughts and ideas and let others benefit form your experience. You have been both an inspiration, and life saver over the years, not just to me, but to so many users of this forum.
