For those of us lucky enough to have a week off now........

I hope your week is full of the things that you like to do :1b

I can't avoid the old TDL this week - but I am going to the Kent Garden Show on Sunday and I have two lunch dates booked with two different groups of friends, need to get some serious gardening done too - will be busy, busy, busy! :1b

A lengthy TDL for me too but I also have a meal with friends and a trip with my nephew to the Roald Dahl museum - I got him a golden ticket for his birthday.

Well I have a beautiful new granddaughter, so I will be spending lots of time cuddling her, lots of playing with her big sister, and giving lots of tlc for their mummy.

Happy holidays everyone.:):):)

Like many others I have a TD list and a bag of "homework" - just in case there is a rainy day during the half term week.

I am looking forward to catching up with friends and then a bit of personal "overhaul time" - hair do etc (sadly the etc. seems to be growing the older I get).

I am however looking forward to spending a bit of time with my "Baby" on the road - I have decided that I am going to grow old disgracefully and have cashed in a small pension pot (from when I had a "proper" job before you ask as we know there's no money in early years!) and being a bit of a petrol head have indulged my passion!

Baby is blue, she purrs, the top comes down when the sun comes out and she knocks 30 years off me ;-)

No TDL to feel guilty about (its still there but tough!) as off to sunny Scotland for a week with hubby and some of his family. Been stressful couple of weeks so really looking forward to switching off.

Congrats Fredbear. You go girl SueJ, you only live once so make the most of it.

I also have files to update but have put them away as it's my 60th birthday today. Having lunch with friends shortly, then family meal tomorrow, then off to Menorca Monday for a week. And if that's not enough, the icing on the cake was my middle son turning up last night, back home after spending 2 yrs teaching English to 4-5 year olds in Hong Kong. YEA! still in shock. :o ::1a

Enjoy whatever you are doing.

 My 'get up and go' seems to have well and truly 'got up and gone'

Can't seem to get myself motivated at all - horrible weather here is probably contributing to this :(

How is everyone else getting on?

Had a lovely weekend, went to the Hay Festival. Today, here I am still in my dressing gown having a wonderful chill out day. It's raining, so plan for the afternoon is to start reading 'Girl on the Train' ..... Not done one item off the TD list and not bothered at all - lol!

Add to that and stinking cough/cold.

Lovely lunch today with an ex-employee. Weather disgusting, but gossip good !!

Right Sunnyday, seems like the poly tunnel can wait for you - how about a good book, a nice cuppa and a slice of something nice.

Loony Loo - hope you feel better soon!

I had a brilliantly productive Monday and Tuesday morning was good too then it all went to pot! Dragged myself together to get the essentials of next week's planning done this morning and that is it! Now down at my sister's having a great time being Aunty! Off to Roald Dahl tomorrow - can't wait!

I have had a couple of lovely lunch days - one with daughter and another with my ex Uni buddy - lots of gossip to catch up on and joint whinges over lunch and coffee.

Today however - Well decisions, decisions - shall I look at policy updates, website updates or shall I sort out my garage - a job I have been threatening to do for ages - all lovely appealing jobs ;-}

Oh I don't know dragon lady - such great choices you have there! ::1a

I am ploughing on with 'Transition docs' - but not for much longer - will soon be off to see a dear friend who is celebrating her birthday! :1b
