Easter 'to do' list

I'd like to ask for some merits, but don't really know what you could award them to me for.

I suppose I have made one or two posts on the forum over the last week.

And I have nearly completed my level 3 transition to playwork, made a birthday cake for 13 year old, washed and dried dressing up clothes, completed a week's ironing, caught up on the week of the Archers. Now off to clean my Dad's room before he gets back from his month long holiday. Oh not to mention the shopping trip to Oxford Street where I bought 3 yes 3 pairs of shoes!!!!!

Sounds to me as if you are a classic over achiever LKeyteach! Catching up on the Archers is pure pleasure as is buying 3 pairs of shoes but you may redeem yourself if they really were needed as you hadn't indulged for a couple of weeks.

As for all other items on your to do list already completed and in the process thereof I would suggest 3 merits particularly as at least 2 'to dos' were/are on behalf of others

Yay - very well done thumper! :1b

I've had a very busy day - more jet washing - honestly that is addictive! xD

Lots of gardening too!

has been such a lovely sunnyday here!

Gosh, everyone's been really busy.

In my defence, I have actually been 'proper ill' , hit me on last day- couldn't get out of bed, went to drs on Monday.... And was told to take at least a week off! Obviously my cat agreed with dr- hence her stopping all work

Anyway I have now tidied my desk (and cat) so can start working through my list.

So far so good, spent time sorting art cupboards with new easy access trays , sorted through and filed lot of paperwork , had visit from la to prove the children eligible for next term are legitimate ,( apparently copies of their bills were not enough !) , had couple of parents and staff and children in for painting the playhouse which is lovely now as a beach hut , gardener in , mud kitchen area being revamped and defined, new art trolley ordered, garage sorted and shelving unit put in , several items sold surplus to requirements,

Village chair duties- Lino ripped up from men's floor and tipped, decorators booked , parish meeting attended , new flooring sorted , health and safety policy written.

Home life - spring clean yesterday , just taken possession of allotment so OH and I have been rotavating , building and weeding etc .

Sowing seeds in my newly erected greenhouse , nursing some random pains in my foot !

Off to meet decorator in an hour , phew! but writing it down makes me realise I have achieved quite a lot this hols and enjoyed every minute of it

I've had a very busy day - more jet washing - honestly that is addictive! xD

I have now hidden my jet washer from myself for a while lest I start another mammoth project!

However I have now:

Completed all newsletters, planning etc and updated the website

Purchased treasury tags to start gutting last years books for the accountant

"Supervised" hubby's shed installation onto sparkly jet washed base :D

Sorted out daughter's birthday pressies

Installed new home phones as new home phones installed just a couple of weeks ago decided to give up  (Truly this is a mammoth task - all that re-charging and re-programming numbers)

Upgraded mobile phone - now have sparkly new one with oh so many features that I am so not going to use xD

Laundered loads - so lovely to be pegging it out in the sun to dry - Little things and all that ;)

Today's tasks are to

"Supervise" installation of new Wendy House and small store for outdoor toys at the setting - soooooooo exciting

"Supervise" double glazing installation at my house - after 24+ years the time has come to remove the blown windows for some I can see through xD

Make copious quantities of "builders tea" which I believe is the role of supervisor ;)

Keep enjoying the lovely sunny weather down here in the south of the country

Have a lovely day everyone x

Well nothing much achieved today at all

Have been to the hairdressers to get rid of my 'natural highlights' - he was so proud of his new iphone - he wanted to play with 'siri' all afternoon - "what shall I ask it now"?

Me: Try asking it where my coffee is :ph34r:xDxD

Well, I've only written one medium term plan but I went round to my HT's house this morning and spent an hour sat in his beautiful new garden in the sunshine talking interview stuff. I don't quite know how he did it but he managed to dispel the knotted, sick feeling from my stomach, made me feel like I could breathe again and reassured me that not only do I know some stuff but that I'm actually pretty good at it too. So all in all I feel like I've had a pretty good day. Book group tonight so lots more chatting and not much working to be done then too!

That did make me smile Sunnyday.:)

Never mind Panders there's always another day.

Well without being smug just got back from pre-school, and storage all spick and span, but as for the rest of my tooooo dooooo list um cant hear you.:)

Off to Ikea tomorrow, buy some play sand, B&Q or Mothercare, replenish dry snack goods, then that's me done. Spending the weekend with my gorgeous family yippee.:)

Can't ask for merits today, have spent time wandering from one thing to another, lots started nothing completed.

Tomorrow will be in nursery awaiting outcomes from primary school places. I am expecting a few disappointed parents.

And still can't finish this transition to Playwork thing!!!!!!!

haven't been involved in this conversation this week because i have not done anything...mainly due to the fact i have picked up gastroenteritis from dinner in London on friday  Now i'd like to hear a big ahh please (or maybe an eurgh!)

I have just opened an email from one of my 'mums' - brought a tear to my eye.......she wanted to let me know that her little boy (who is just lovely!) has a place at their first choice of school - she went on to thank me for the grounding that I have given him and lots more absolutely lovely and very kind words

Done lots of supervising of workmen today (makes a change from being the navvy) and now have some lovely new windows at home and even better a super duper new Wendy House and storage bin for preschool. Looking good.

Will be getting the shopping for next week tomorrow and depositing it at preschool then I'm done and dusted with work ready for the Easter weekend which begins with an M&S sourced cream tea (giving myself time off from cooking and washing up xD ) in what I am hoping will be a sunny garden to begin my daughter's birthday celebrations.

Can't quite recall Sunnyday!!! However could do with you here at the moment, cat's done a whoopsie on my rug - just about to chastise her when I realised after I cleaned out her dirt tray, I'd forgotten to re-fill it with litter. This forgetfulness is becoming a worry!

You lot do make me smile. I wish I knew you in real life too - I could do with someone to share a real cup of tea and a chat with today.

Oh bless - are you OK?

As for sharing a cuppa - I'm just about to pour mine - so you have one too! :1b

Mostly, lots of stuff going on at the moment and I'm spending too much time thinking! My friends all seem to live hundreds of miles away and/or have smallish children so catching up is difficult.

Well 'we're' here for you - well I won't be soon - I must get on with these carpets - but in the words of Arnie Whathisface - I'll be Back! :1b
