I dread to think what would happen if we had an audit now! I don't think we've had anything near full attendance since the first lockdown 😳.... and as for the milk returns 🙀 I think many parents are making up for lost time and doing lots of outings/days out etc - or maybe even [shock/horror] they found out they actually like having their children and home with them! Lots of them off on holidays in the next few weeks too.

Does anyone have to actually do anything with the forms or are they just left in the filing cabinet like us? I remember having to post them off years ago. (and they just went in the normal post box- no recorded/tracked malarky) Zigzag that's a pain! Ours just have hours taken up- no sessions or anything.

Well my thought bubble is pretty much near to bursting at the moment! 🤣 Parent - "can you help me sort my 2yr funding code please?" ..... said parents live in a 995K+ house, works, had a partner, just got back from a long weekend in Spain ........ and was late this morning as she had to wait in for the cleaner who was running late!!! I told her she needed to sort it herself and just give me the code when she gets it! (obviously I do help some families) Anyway, had to go in today - but it was a really lovely chilled out morning- they kind that remind you why you do the job 😊 Have a lovely weekend everyone, at least the weather looks like it's on the up now 🤞

They do sound like incredibly needy people (or person!) I couldn't be working with that level of entitlement for sure! I have to say we do have (on the whole) good parents.. plus I think being privately owned helps. Our have been really good this week as for the first time during the whole pandemic we actually have two staff off at the same time, and parents have offered to drop sessions if we have any problems 😊 Luckily, we always work at least one over, and today is the only day we may have had an issue- but I was able to cover, and even then I came home after an hour (well actually I went to Ikea to spend lots of money on things I never knew I needed 🤣🤣🤣)

Manic laughter - looking for hens teeth springs to mind! I did mention to parent... and she 'welled up' 😢 so I really want to try and help her. I do want to start a plan really early on though, and have said it will be short sessions of the foreseeable until we can assess him properly. He not 3 until July and maybe he will settle with support. I'm having trouble loading the photo....although I have strangely managed to make it my desktop picture!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Well, the weeks are certainly flying by! We 've just had our first child in about 6+ years start that appears to have behavioural needs 😢 We are hoping that it's just a sensory overload at being in a group setting. During his second one hour settling session he hit 3 children, pushed over many, knocked all the chairs, over and hit out at one member of staff! I feel it's going to be a challenging year for us! 😭 (he will be with for 4 terms) We took my granddaughter to the bluebell woods Sunday hoping for an Instagram moment... she decided otherwise 🤣 I shall try and add a photo later. I am so cold I'm sitting with two jumpers on a the moment, hope the weather is better for others this weekend. Just a little sunshine would be good.

Bit of a shock Friday for me I had to work 🙀🤣 combine that with an already four day week and I'm now totally confused as to what day it is!

That's a shame as that's what I do. Are you not allowed them at all? I have mine late at night with a mug of hot chocolate and a bit of star watching.

Love it! I've just been trying to read the instruction book and kept glazing over 😳 fortunately it's 'reasonably' similar to my old one🙂 I have a Bernina (updated my older one) Just need to decide what to actually make now, thinking of making some of the podlet things you were making last year? I won't be repairing gazebo's that's for sure as that's what upset my last machine 😬

I know what you mean, I thought about the sewing bee 🤣 (on that subject I actually went our to a real shop today and bought a new sewing machine 😮... and I went to Tesco's! -first time in over two years!!!)
