Afternoon all. A pleasant week, finishing with a busy Friday! Just back from dropping Andy for day eye surgery, then onto dance class... then back to collect the patient and home! Might have a nap this afternoon.😂 Have a good weekend everyone. x

Lovely Photos 😁 Great to hear you are enjoying it ! We went to the Sagrada Basillica about 18 years ago and walked up to the top....you photos have made me want to visit again now it finished, although not sure if I can make all the stairs again 😂

Morning all. 'Operation Sort Out' I love that term.... think I'm going to adopt it as my new mantra!😁 EVERY night i think I'll make a start tomorrow- however, tomorrow never comes 😭 Hope Zigzag is having a good time. I've been back at work a week, and I'm tired already! Homewise we have a very busy week ahead with something 'on' every day - nothing exciting I hasten to add. have a good weekend everyone xx

Morning all. Sorry to here stressful solicitor times. Selling my aprents house although actually easy/straightward as things go - but it was clealy obvious that our buyer was using a non local convency company, even though the buyer where localish. Some of the questions were down right weird! Question about who maintained the 'unmade' road 😂..... it was a pretty normal house in a normal road. They also kept asking about the planning permission for the rear extension - the house had no rear extension! 🤷♀️ Had a busy week, both with grandchildren, and days out ourselves. Possibly too much eating out! I really do need to do some serious decluttering though. Every night I say 'tomorrow is the day' then next morning life happens and nothing gets done. Hope everyones well, and have a good weekend all..... especially Zigzag on your cruise - think of us when you have a cocktail (or drink of your choice🍹) x

Almost forgot it's Friday! Sunnyday, house sorting it the worst 😢 .... but it does bring back some happy memories along with the sad ones. Froglet, good to hear you had a good catch up with your friend! All I seem to have done this week is eat! Hope everyone else has had a good week too. x

Zigzag, hope your fully recovered for your cruise 🤞 Have fun with the GS. We've had a busy weekend with the 'arts and crafts' .....Meet 'Rainbow Sparkle, Sparkle Rainbow' created by GD (with help I should add). We also made 'Easter Baskets' (bags!!!) for the family 😂

I can't even remember what I've done this week! 😳 Had the GS for sleep over last night, and the GD tomorrow night - I do know that😂 Easter break next week, so a few days out planned, well,we haven't actually planned where to go yet... waiting to see what the weather like first. 😊 Have a good weekend all xx

Afternoon all. Sunny day - you've reminded me that I'm supposed to be booking the Abba thingy! I shall await your verdict before I proceed 😂 Been really nice here weather wise, and It's actuallly made me feel motivated to sort the house out a bit - as you say Froglet, it makes you feel calm once you can start noticing the 'tidyness' I quiet weekend end for us, and I hope everyone has a good one.

Beautiful 😍 I hope you enjoyed your day x I have just come back from our local garden centre - I have NEVER in my 45 years of living here ever seen it so busy! As we left there was even carpark rage happening!! It used to be so quiet and calm there 😢.

Froglet- it's the things children say that keeps me in this job! Another quietish so-so week for me. We had our GSs birthday- and the bike did end up being ridden around the house... but at least it was 'new/clean', and nobody got their toes run over! 😂 Have to dash now- off to excercise class 😜 x

Afternnoon all. It has been a beautiful week! Until today, however that said, I have managed to go to my exercise class, then daughter dropped in after work at 12.20 and started the lawn mower - I then managed to get the grass cut... it just started raining as I was putting the mower away. (Andy is out of action with bad shoulder/arm) We have the GS's 3 bithday at the weekend hoping the weather won't be too bad -as he has a bicycle as his present!😂 Nothing much exciting this week to report. Sunnyday enjoy the grandchildren tomorrow 😊 xx

Needle felting doesn't need you to be artistic! For a really easy make - just find a cookie cutter (heart shape works well) then fill it with wool and stab away, once it's all matted up- remove from the cutter and needle stab around the edges to 'smooth/round' it off... You can even add more felt if you want to make it fuller/fatter. It makes a pretty hanging heart- I guess you could put a few drops of essential oils to make it into car refreasher ? (but I've never tried that!) xx

Are you calling me and Froglet strange! 😮😂😂...... obviously we enjoy spending hours looking for accumulated craft stuff which we just know we will need at some point 😂😂😂 Good to hear you had a good productive decluttering session though. My GD has reached the age where she can now say 'why don't you take that to work for the children to play with' which I find sweet.

Afternnon all. Quiet week here. We had 17/18 temp with SUN on Wednesday....cold again Thursday though. Sunnyday- I have heard of Quinsy, but many many years ago. Hope your GD continues to do well in her recovery. It took me and my brother a very long time to actually sort my parents house 😢. Zigzag, I mean to ask have you done some needle felting? I did enjoy if for a while 😊.... you could always make a fairy?- the felting wool would make excellent hair! I'll happily make you a little kit up of the other components if you need them! 😊😊 Froglet - I understand your 'looking for something I know I have' pain. I must of spent around three hours looking for the crystals for my fairy's dress- then once I did find them they were actually bigger than I remembered 😭🙄... but I still used them after all that effort of finding them! 😂 Hope everyone else is keeping well. I've made a start this is my prototype- and she still needs a fair bit more work. I only purchased, wooden beads (already painted face) and pink pipecleaners. All other bits are from supplies 😂 I did the pipecleaner 'wrapping' in the evening with bad light.....and it shows!😮😂

Morning all. 😊 Hope everyone has had a good week. I'm on half term, and it's been my birthday- so lots of chilling out with family and eating 😮😂 I stared on a fairy, however, I did it during the evening and the next morning she didn't look so good (only did the body though)..... so far she has a 'look' that only a grandaughter could love!😂 Just seen your post Sunnyday, good to hear you had a good week too.x

(I'm going to have to put on a 'social face' for a couple of days. 😂 Sunnyday, good to hear all went well yesterday. 💐 Froglet - the Works had spring coloured pipecleaners £1.00 including a 'spring pink' if you wanted to experiment. Quick add, just found some pink pipecleaners on amazon, I think I'd prefer more 'skin tone' but might order so I can experiment.

To be fair I do have a craft obsessed granddaughter - therefore I do have a slight advantage with basics such as pipecleaners. Preety sure the last lot I bought were from somewhere like poundland? ..... However I guess I may need to source natural coloured ones? Please do not encourage me! At least Froglet sounds if if she may actually use them and not Just add them to stock- as they are too pretty to use! 😮
