We were going to put our tree up this afternoon - but it's raining so hard we can't be bothered to go and buy one😮😂 I do feel more human today I must say. 😊 We went on the Polar Express Train ride (Norfolk one) and I have to say it was really good and not what I was expecting at all - was a little on the expensive side, and I think it's better for children ages about 5+ (the 2.9 yr old got a bit bored in the end) Zigzag and MouseketeerI know what yu mean about the funding issues- I given up with it to be honest -we don't have a charge... we offer basic 🤷♀️ As I've have said before I now want out in July. If my daughter wants to run it, then I will have to stay until she's qualified otherwise I think we will just close down. I have suggested it to staff, but they just want to trun up and get paid, go home - and I have noticed since covid they seem to have lost interest in putting in any extra effort into their job roles which i find sad. 😢

Morning all. Had a nice trip away with the grandchildren, now I feel a little brain dead - possible need a few days in a darkend room...😂 That's all I can think of to add to this thread today 😳 xx

We've actuall given up on the consumables now- to much hastle, we only do a school length day at most (just two six hour days a week). Snack is very basic now 😂 If we do do any activities that require addtion cost we ask 'in the moment' donations (for want of a better word!) rather than invoice it.

Well, I really late this week! Yesterday the GD have an inset day so we off to do do some Christmassy things in Cambridge 😊 Today I've been on a wreath making session, and now off out to a birthday celebration. Christmas Market tomorrow - then away Mon-Fri !! (finishing with going on the Polar Express) Mousekeeper - have things changed for Jan? 😳

Late again! Evening all. Went to my dance class this morning only the teacher had lost her voice- so we sort of did it to hand signing, and it was actually really good. No snow here, had sleet Wednesday. Took the grandson for a sneaky father christmas visit yesterday (sister at school) and very typically he actually posed for the most beautiful photo that we can't actully display 😂 I have the Gd for a sleepover tomorrow - so lost of crafts this weekend! We only have three more weeks of preschool, and I'm away the week after next - so only two actually weeks left for me, and as I only do 3 days a week that = 6 more days for me!😮😳 xx

I have this with my GS, but I'm not going to lie- I quite like the peace and quiet... and it's the total opposite with the GD who drags me everywhere to play! 😂

Afternoon Froglet 😊 No sunnyday yet 😮.... hope everthing is ok with you. Pretty quite for me this week. I've had my flu jab this morning, and I'm feeling a little tired now. I have the GC for the afternoon tomorrow but that's about it for this weekend. Hope all is well this people. x

Afternoon all. Very quiet week here too- and I'm not compaining either. I did have big plans for a massive declutter this half-term, but it hasn't happened! Mr S needs to come here 👻🎃..... I have sweets ready- but no-one ever knocks as it's a tad too creepy down our end of the lane once it gets dark 😂 Sleepover with the GD tomorrow here which I'm locking forward to.... I just wonder what games I'm expected to play this time 🙄 Have a good weekend all.

A sad week for us. Unfortunately we lost our beloved little cat 😢 . I have been at the hospital today with my grandaughter for a scan, and she was very brave. Thankfully the appointment was for checking that she will not have problems as she gets older rather than anything actually wrong with her now. That said the poor thing is having gromits fitted in two weeks time- she really is going though it at the moment. Hope you all have a nice weekend. PS: As part of the scan treament we had to leave the hospital for 4 hours then return. We went to a lovely big garden centre for lunch and a mooch around...they had NOTEBOOKS!!! I did not buy one. 😇

My poorly cat (18 yrs old currently with a bad eye) has ditched me and found herself a cosy bed- I feel I have not yet been forgiven for the trip to the vets yesterday!

Morning all, Sunnyday, I too am amazed at peoples generosity during these hard times - our's raised a whopping £1500 this year! (very round figure so I guessing someone rounded it up 😍) Cold, wet and getting windy here today .... so me and a poorly cat are going to snuggle up with a blanket and book for a few hours I think. Might even have a hot chocolate!

I have loads of green tomatoes- I'm leaving them out until tomorrow evening, then bring them all in to (hopefully) ripen!
