Afternoon all. Very quiet week here too- and I'm not compaining either. I did have big plans for a massive declutter this half-term, but it hasn't happened! Mr S needs to come here 👻🎃..... I have sweets ready- but no-one ever knocks as it's a tad too creepy down our end of the lane once it gets dark 😂 Sleepover with the GD tomorrow here which I'm locking forward to.... I just wonder what games I'm expected to play this time 🙄 Have a good weekend all.

A sad week for us. Unfortunately we lost our beloved little cat 😢 . I have been at the hospital today with my grandaughter for a scan, and she was very brave. Thankfully the appointment was for checking that she will not have problems as she gets older rather than anything actually wrong with her now. That said the poor thing is having gromits fitted in two weeks time- she really is going though it at the moment. Hope you all have a nice weekend. PS: As part of the scan treament we had to leave the hospital for 4 hours then return. We went to a lovely big garden centre for lunch and a mooch around...they had NOTEBOOKS!!! I did not buy one. 😇

My poorly cat (18 yrs old currently with a bad eye) has ditched me and found herself a cosy bed- I feel I have not yet been forgiven for the trip to the vets yesterday!

Morning all, Sunnyday, I too am amazed at peoples generosity during these hard times - our's raised a whopping £1500 this year! (very round figure so I guessing someone rounded it up 😍) Cold, wet and getting windy here today .... so me and a poorly cat are going to snuggle up with a blanket and book for a few hours I think. Might even have a hot chocolate!

I have loads of green tomatoes- I'm leaving them out until tomorrow evening, then bring them all in to (hopefully) ripen!

I would read this as yes as the FA is booked within the three months? Is she already qualified - if so did she start before 2014/16 (I cant remember the actual year offhand) because that also makes a difference on the need for PFA.

Sunny day - do you have Søstrene Grenes store near you? Bit of a game changer in the stationery department! 😂 It's sort of like an upmarket Ikea.... but Ikea prices. You walk around a meandering route whilst looking at lots of pretty things (including stationery) that you don't really need whilst listening gentle tranquil classical music! I also quite like a Tyger Tyger store too- but that one better with the GC in tow 😂

Sorry to hear about your dad, but this also makes it more important to take care of yourself first. 🌷🌷🌷 Remember: ALWAYS PUT ON YOUR OWN OXYGEN SUPPLY BEFORE HELPING OTHERS! I now subscribe to tw**kl (not sure if I'm allowed to put the full name) yes it is a tad expensive- but they seem pretty 'on it' and it's actually saved me a lot of time and 'mental energy'. take care xx

EYFS updates- pretty straighward for us really, it's how we work anyway. ( may have a quick read through this afternoon- the one page changes that is- not the whole EYFS document 😂) Nutritional - we've tried to stick to that already, we only provide snacks- and they have always just been fruit, breadstick milk/water. . Our lunch boxes are usually pretty good, but we do give out a leaflet when the child starts. Re birthdays cakes etc... well our children tend to bring sweets (fun size) and we give these out at then end of the session when the parents/carers collect, we remind children they can only have when ok with parents - and I'm sticking with that!🤷♀️ Climate plan- my view is don't overthink it! Mine, when I write it next week will pretty much say- Recyle everthing we can, print less stuff, look after resources and buy secondhand and donate when possible! Oh, and use less chemicals ie hot saopy water for whiping tables down etc. Hoping all goes well for you next week.

Morning all, Sunnyday the same here! Hope everyone has had a good week, and will have a good weekend too. Well it's my last 'free day' 😂 Anybody want to tell me what I should have done if I had a 'to do list'? 😂😂 I've printed a register, new names will be done next week during 'work-time' We only have returners on the first week- so they can use their old names (I am cutting down on printing and especially laminating- we did used to do a new set for everyone each year) I have a new diary to update- but again I'll do that monday morning at work 😮😂 Nothing else done- I really am holding out on only working during 'working time' 😊 ........ athough I have literally just remembered I need to order milk delivery!!!!! Good job I remembered that- as our local shop is closed for a refit. x
