Good evening 😊 Another wizzy week has flown by. I've spent the day cleaning out my office - so much early years stuff is now in the recycling 🙀 My thinking is - if I haven't used it yet, it's never going to be used! Nothing much planned for the weekend other than a few little garden tidying jobs. Have a good weekend everyone 😊😊

What kind of setting are you? Hope you can get it sorted soon. We're sessional and our newest member of staff has been with us for coming up to 5 years! (although sometimes that brings issues with complacency etc 😭)

Re the flowers- yes! I've just been out to sweep a few leaves (ash tree, they come down on mass over about a three days 🤣 they'll be knee deep again tomorrow!) anyway I noticed some of my stocks are re-flowering 😁 they were a disappointment this year, I've just had there beautiful scent whilst sweeping up. Yes, the turn out for the class was a disappointment, but I think many in this age group are either still working or providing childcare for grandchildren.

Indeed another Friday already, just back from my dance class for the over 50's... sadly one more class then it's finished 😢 There was only two of us attending and they just couldn't get the numbers up. Anyway the weeks are flying past, I need to tidy up the garden for winter this weekend. Last year the flowers lasted so much longer, and my hanging baskets almost made to Christmas still looking good - not this year though. P.S. notice how I just managed to slip 'the word' in there! 🤣

Had our Covid jabs last week, just looking into getting flu jabs - We could go and get them this evening at Asda! The best thing about this time of year is thinking ahead for the C word! 😁

I always use the government calculator to work out holidays. I now annualise hours the staff work and go from there on the gov site. I know longer keep up with every bit of new information that comes out, and I'm doing most of the paperwork at work- in work time! For the first time ever I am managing 'to leave work at work! Oh and the baby's a boy 😮.... we were all convinced it was another girl! 😂

I spent last night trying to find chocolate Garibaldi, alas not luck 😬 Must have been late 60s early 70s, they were just the normal cheapie one but with a thin layer of chocolate - does anyone else remember these? Me and Andy had our Covid boosters today. Andy a little upset that I was asked if I was having an early one as a NHS worker 🤣 ... he just looks old!
