sunnyday Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Oh my word - I am out the other side - completely unscathed - easy peasy - wonder if that will come back to haunt me!  Probably get an email in a minute to tell me my registration attempt was unsuccessful or some-such 2 Quote
sunnyday Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Really - still nothing here. Mine was sent to my setting address........ Quote
playgroup1 Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 I have had a parent ask me about it because you can do it if you are self employed where you couldn't when it was employer based. Quote
narnia Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 received mine this morning, sent to setting address, but postie knows I'm not there at weekends, so he delivered it to my home Quote
Panders Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 Mine was sent to my setting address........ Ah I'll wait with baited breath then. Quote
lynned55 Posted October 29, 2016 Posted October 29, 2016 So was mine, it arrived on our last day but have been away so not had chance to register. However we are also a reg charity but I have checked our tax stuff before on HMRC's website and I'm sure you can only register to do that with a UTR. Unless I'm thinking of a GG number. Rea, did he say how long until we can register? 1 Quote
Carol Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 I haven't had a letter yet, unless it went to my setting during half term Quote
lsp Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Ours arrived today. Passed straight into Treasurers tray!!! Delegation is a wonderful thing. 1 Quote

They probably now know me better than I know myself! 4 Quote
lsp Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Oh dear. Just thinking now - maybe I need to retrieve our form from Treasurers tray. We will do it as a joint enterprise! Quote
sunnyday Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 Oh dear. Just thinking now - maybe I need to retrieve our form from Treasurers tray. We will do it as a joint enterprise! Actually yes I would think so - questions are personal to you - e.g. where did you meet your partner, name of street that you lived on when you ten......... Promise though that the set up is really easy :1b 1 Quote
MagicStar Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 Has anyone that has registered received a reply or acknowledgement that they have been successfully setup? After seeing the confirmation screen during the setup process, there have been no further emails or letters. Just curious, as how do we know that we have been setup properly? Quote
BroadOaks Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 Nope I had no confirmation either. I can now sign in though for what it's worth and all the details are correct ie bank details. So I guess we need to now inform parents to use this? When does it start? Quote

The link on my first post can be copied to parents which will give them the details 'early 2017' is on the description 1 Quote

Mouseketeer Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Does EVERY charity setting have to contact them to say we don't have UTR or will they figure it out themselves and send something else when they get around to it ? Quote
finleysmaid Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Does EVERY charity setting have to contact them to say we don't have UTR or will they figure it out themselves and send something else when they get around to it ? my very clever admin found our UTR on our hmrc portal! 1 Quote
lynned55 Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 The person I spoke to said we wouldnt be able to register online andthe government would be sending us something shortly???? Quote
PaseyLtd Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 Accessed through the link that Rebecca posted (thank you) - there is a number to contact which I called and was told that the letter would be re-issued. To register you need to input a reference number on the letter!! I did explain that nursery hadn't received the letter in the first place! It isn't an issue or he led me to believe that it isn't!!! 1 Quote
Guest Posted November 17, 2016 Posted November 17, 2016 What about schools? My preschool and the out of school club are governed by the school and hence come under the schools ofsted. Will the government realise that schools also provide this service and send letters out to register? I have warned the office to expect one but nothing yet! Quote
Panders Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 Well finally have received mine. Went on this evening to register, got all the way to the point of putting in a password and the site crashed! I'll try tomorrow. BtTW Marley - my letter came in a white envelope, not a lovely HMRC brown one - looked like junk mail. 1 Quote
lsp Posted November 19, 2016 Posted November 19, 2016 Ours was in a white envelope and addressed to nominated person at their home address with no mention of setting on address panel. Quote
