We're off to Bournemouth to visit the in-laws on Saturday. I just looked on Metcheck and we're due snow on Friday night. Looks like we might have our day in front of the log-burner after all.

Think you may have to have a really good go at planning your route as listening to Lynne on Chris Evans breakfast show this morning lots of roads in Scotland affected by snow...travel carefully won't you.

2 days on and we have had 2 snowmen and a snow tractor built. But can anyone explain to me the satisfaction some children have in kicking down their hard work. I just don't get it!!

It may go back to being young whipper snappers when they build a tower of bricks and knock it over- to which adults clap and cheer....

Not much snow here this morning but it does look lovely out, with the sun on the white fields and all the trees in the background still in their autumn colours with a dusting of snow.. an unusual sight...
