.........just reminding myself

Have spent all morning engaged in pre-school paperwork - hmmm - not my idea of how to spend a Saturday :(

Time to STOP this and get out in my garden methinks :1b

Out partying tonight - woohoo!

Hope you are all having a pleasant day and not working too hard :1b

And thank goodness for that - has been the most manic of weeks! Like you sunnyday I have spent the morning work - I was finishing off my reports from 8.00 until 1.00pm. They were due yesterday... can't believe how long they've taken this time.

I am, though, still in my pjs since I decided that I needed to just get on with them. Once I've dressed I need to do something about the horrible state the house is in (and I'm not exaggerating here) and then tackle the rest of the work load - IEPs, transition arrangements, stock orders for next year etc etc etc. I love this time of year!

Just as I had resolved to get out into the garden the heavens opened - so here I am back tackling the old TDL........

I love your TDL Sunny. Don't know what I will do if you ever complete it. It always makes me feel a bit better knowing I am not the only one that never catches up with myself. Lolx

could we all please do a " sun dance" for Thursday - we have our outing and whilst I do not want 90 degs it would be lovely for it to be dry!!

We were exactly the same this week and luckily got the one properly dry day for ages.

The heavens were already open here at the time I posted then sunshine again. I was torn between trying to do more work so I could have the day off tomorrow so getting a bit of rest. The rest kind of happened to me in the end - I went to take my lovely Dad a thank you present for being an emergency helper on my trip on Tuesday and ended up putting the world to rights with him for 3 1/2 hours! Now I have done some of the washing up and am watching a little TV. Will get up early tomorrow to work on the TDL!

Well I'm absolutely shattered too. What with the Queens street party, a Funday, a school trip for nearly a 100 of us, which had to be totally changed due to the hideous weather, home visits, inductions, a sports day next week, alongside helping to organise my daughters wedding in September it's all go, go, go.

So I'm just chilling for a wee while before tomorrow's meeting, pre-school shopping, and home visits, and that's all on my day off.

Happy weekend one and all.:)

That depends on how well you shake your bootee! Probably need to make final "go" decision on Wednesday,

It would appear that your dancing is working - currently the weather forecast for Thursday here is DRY B) B) B) B) can barely believe it.

So glad the weather is holding for you all. We had our sports day yesterday. Great turnout, and just as I said we are now going to make our way back to our setting from our local park, it started to rain.

Hallelujah.:)

Yay, didn't rain once and had an improving weather pattern, great picnic, most turned up, kids I think, enjoyed it too.

Brilliant - so pleased the dancing worked! ;)

I had lunch with my old Deputy, miss her a lot. Got a parking ticket we were that long chin wagging :o:o:o However, in my defence, I had wanted to pay by "parking app" but couldn't get a signal and had to rummage about for change for the machine, but still ....... just to see her was worth it.

I regret to say that wine o'clock was brought forward today as it has been such a s*** week - never mind 2 weeks to go punctuated by an outing on Tuesday (Sunnyday you'd better start dancing again!), an end of year music and movement show Friday and a leavers' party to finish (me) off with ;-) (My likes are working but I still can't make the faces do anything)

The dancing worked for us too... thank you. We had TORENTIAL rain on Wednesday and our year end trip was Thursday. Worried? Just a bit!! Anyway, not a drop of rain, some sun and some shade... it was perfect for an outdoor event and enjoyed by all.

Could you dance for Friday please? It's our Sport's Day and could I say (huge sigh!) the last day of term for us.

We had our trip on Thursday too and were really fortunate with the weather. We have had rain both days either side. The highlight of our trip was when one little boy's dad (who is a firefighter) brought a fire engine to the field where we were picnicking! Lovely surpride for everyone.
