Help for parents of all 3 year olds) Growing mushrooms, or chillies Making ornamental plant supports Just winning the lottery.... I have thought about it a lot! 1
Froglet Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Bake, sew, run a cafe/stationery/bookshop combined! 2
Froglet Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Oh, and I'd be miraculously able to paint the most beautiful watercolours too so would probably need a gallery too! 1
Froglet Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 And I'd be able to do all of the above while reading a book at the same time! 1
zigzag Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Love to have a coffee and cake shop with big squashy couches and lots of books. 1
finleysmaid Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 well after the dogs were well walked and the allotment was well tended and my ironing pile did not need scaffolding i would also be involved with cake in some way ...or open a proper sweet shop with my lovely daughter ...which is something we've been talking about for ages!!! 1
Rea Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 I'd like a tea room with those lovely little gin tea cups, table cloths, comfy arm chairs and sofas, chintz curtains and the Blues playing in the background :1b 2
louby loo Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Well if I'm not in partnership with froglet - My daughter and I did want to open a 'bra shop' selling specialist styles. We live in a very 'orange' part of the country and many of the shops around here are very daunting for some people. ... well other than M+S obviously 2
blondie Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 it is very strange that lots of people who have replied want to work in tea and cake shops lol :1b

Running Bunny Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 I want to be a florist. The trouble is, I can see how I would like something to look, but have no idea how to actually achieve it! 1
Fredbear Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 I would open a toy shop with just wooden toys. Love the texture and the simplicity of them. Fab idea about the orangutans Hali. 1
Panders Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Yes but mines with gin! 'scuse me thought you weren't drinking any more
Rea Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 'scuse me thought you weren't drinking any more Hi, my name is Rea and I'm a big fat fibber 2
Guest Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 I'd probably be doing something involving music. My degree is education and music, and I play the flute.
mundia Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 I am certain I was a gardener in a previous life so guess that would be it. But mum and I also talked of having a proper wholefood tea shop. 1
narnia Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 Assuming the lottery comes up?? A hassle and paper-work free life, where I can follow my favourite bands around the world (front row of course) and just enjoy life..........I reckon I've earned some fun 4
Foreveryoung Posted March 15, 2015 Posted March 15, 2015 In my head I would be a dancer, in reality I would not (oh these bones wouldn't allow) so instead I would like to be a midwife, own my own pub or work in the police. 1
sunnyday Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Please may I join the tea room brigade I have actually had my eye on one for a while........not too far from here there is a tea room attached to a lovely farm shop - very small - just 6 tables - they serve some light lunches, tea, coffee and cakes - I have found myself thinking 'oh I could run this standing on my head' Of course, goes without saying if anyone should visit with an orphaned orangutan or three they would be especially welcome! 2
flowlow Posted March 16, 2015 Author Posted March 16, 2015 I would love a place with books (shop or library type thing either) and I would have some place for people to come and learn and debate with each other about things (everything) possibly over coffee/tea and cake lol 1
