Just got back from another marathon round of putting posters up to find he's back. Neighbour from 3 doors away and her builder found him at the top of her stairs. Bought him round minutes before I got in. Lads didnt tell me, just said i should go and look at Til because he didnt look right. Went outside to see Max eating. Little buggers!

 

So, so happy :oxD:(:(:( :wacko:

Thanks everyone for the positive vibes. It worked and my little man is home tucking into scrambled egg.

 

Happy tears now xD :rolleyes: :unsure:

So glad to hear he's safe.

 

I had a rescue cat which had been very badly treated, tail hanging off etc. I nursed her back to health, spent a fortune on her, and then one day she just disappeared. I looked everywhere, boxes, garage, shed cupboard etc. and there was no sign of her so a few tears shed. I popped to the neighbours and various other buildings as well. That night when I went up to bed I heard a muffled mewing. She had got into the drawer under the bed and snuggled down in there. I had taken a jumper out of it that morning and then dashed off to work. She must have had a cosy day, and she hadn't even had an 'accident'.

The local vicar had a similar incident with her kitten. Searched everywhere, asked everyone and found her in the airing cupboard that night.

He'll be grounded for the time it takes me to remember all the places I've put posters and then go round to take them all down.

And he owes me for the printer ink too, half a cartridge of colour gone :o

My brother's ferret got out of his bedroom window and spent a day sitting on the first floor window cill - my poor brother (50+) kept trying to coax her back in with treats..... worried that she'd 'spook' and fall.

...hurry and take the posters down or someone might find you another "lost" Max.

 

This thought comes from a few years back when my youngest (now 15) was learning to ride his bike. We were in our caravan at a campsite and he disappeared, so hubbie and I frantically run around the site giving a description and asking if anyone had seen him. It took about 5 minutes, but seemed like forever, to find him and return to caravan. When we returned an elderly couple were there with - you've guessed it - a boy with a bike! They found him at the play area and told him his mummy and daddy were worried about him being lost and walked him "home". Couple of seconds later his parents turned up; just like a Carry On film it was so embarassing at the time but so funny now.

 

So get those posters down quick!

Ours have the run of the house at times throughtout the day, I dont really want them on the beds but they climb and are too fast always to catch. I know it seems mad, but they really are the best little creatutres and part of the family.
