  1. Oh no, poor little mite, it must be so traumatising for her. I hope everything goes ok with the next procedure.
  2. Here’s today’s delivery ready for painting! The objects in the bag are nativity figures. I’ve also got the August Perrybox waiting to be painted and my advent calendar objects! Can we have another six weeks holiday please!
  3. Great news about Mr S 😘😘
  4. If you are on FB have a look at the Perry’s customer creations group. Some inspiring ideas on there.
  5. I highly recommend taking a look at the Perry’s woodcraft site BUT be warned it’s slightly addictive! I’m currently painting the advent set for that festive time we are not allowed to mention yet!
  6. Oh good I know! I just can’t justify that at all. Each to his own I know and a lot of people would be horrified by our wedding! Registry office followed by a Chinese buffet at a restaurant and back to ours for nibbles in the evening! The whole lot, that includes everything cost a £1000. Just the closest family and friends and that was it, to me this was perfect!
  7. What a fab idea, build a wedding dress, love it. I am currently obsessed with the say yes to the dress programme, just love it. Which is very weird as dresses and weddings and all that fuss is not my style. When I got married I went by myself to Debenhams and bought the first dress I tried on and it was only £125!! If it had been my choice I would have got married in jeans! It literally boggles my mind seeing some of these extravagant weddings!
  8. This is my hungry caterpillar set from Perry’s woodcraft that I have painted to add to our story sack.
  9. Wow, love the top dress she looks lovely. You I’ll have to share a photo of them both on the day in their dresses.
  10. It really is! I spent yesterday getting up to date photos of the children sent to me and printing new labels etc, just doing that takes an age, then family photos then photos of their favourite pets! Then new name labels printed and laminated. Sometimes it the smallest things that take up the most time. Back to school next week to finish everything, then time to forget about it completely🤣famous last words!
  11. Oh god they really are! The first couple of weeks always seems to go so slow in the summer but then they seem to speed up double time!
  12. Think they must do CPD courses in how to be patronising and slimy!
  13. Salesmen are my pet hate! Sorry to anyone who has a family member who is one!😬 I am sure they are wonderful people outside of their job!
  14. Well done you. I’m still feeling daunted and a bit lost!
  15. Putting up backing paper is a real b**ch! Every year when I do it, I say next year I’m going to ask for help. I’ve just come back from doing one board and it left me at screaming point! The board is 18 foot in length so not easy🤯. Next year, I’m going to ask for help….🤣
  16. Froglet, those are fab, you are very clever.
  17. I’m not staying there!
  18. Ok I took the washing off the line, it’s been incredibly windy here today and I have one of those long washing lines the length of my garden, it looked good, I folded and I have hung up in the wardrobe! I’m now sat here twitching 🤯🤯🙄 What have I turned into?
  19. You lot are making me twitchy! I iron everything!
  20. So all I managed to achieve was to watch the ABCdoes webinar about the new EYFS and I think I may have dropped off for a snooze during it! (Sorry Alistair😬). I’ve come to the conclusion, rightly or wrongly, I’m not sure which, that I am overthinking the whole thing. So no real progress made and still haven’t a scooby doo about what or how I am going to do in September. Oh well, tomorrow is another day!
  21. Still sitting cuddled up with the dog watching the diving! Cannot believe the composure and pure brilliance of the 14 year old Chinese girl who won gold!
  22. 1. No! Have been for a unfabulous wet dog walk! And visited Mum and Dad. (Made a promise to defrost both their freezers tomorrow) Still psyching myself up but have now got distracted by the olympics! 2. It wouldn’t be the same without you all and I would expect your attendance! 3. Any sort of cake, I’m not fussy at all. All cake is good.
  23. That really was a long time ago! Remember when they also sent all the funding forms as well instead of making us print them!
  24. I got mine from the EYA think they were about £6 each. Unfortunately I bought them before the changes😡 so am just going to scribble on them!
