He will be 10 months on the 11th. It’s just ridiculous how fast it’s going. Louby they certainly are a complete joy, my heart just literally fills when I look at him. Didn’t think I would feel this kind of love again since having my boys, but by golly I do. Dreading Thursday, not sure who is going to be the biggest wreck me or her! 🫣 Out on our adventures on Monday!

Froglet for goodness sake be careful! Glad you are feeling better. I think my husband had a go at that ice cream recipe, it was nice. Sunnyday, glad Mr S is feeling better, that’s a relief for you both. You sound like you are having a very busy retirement! Good for you. Louuby Lou you clever girl, well done. It’s amazing what you can learn of YouTube isn’t it. Nice feeling to save some money as well! I have my grandson on Mondays now whilst parents are at work, the very best day of my week. We take the dogs for a long walk, he obviously goes in the backpack thingy so we can go off roading. This week we went around the local farm and saw all the animals. Can’t believe I’m so lucky to be doing this with my own grandson. He’s also started crawling in the last two weeks so that’s exciting! Oh my goodness how you forget the need to have eyes in the back of your head! All the holiday lets and air b&bs have ramped up so am trying to squeeze as many in as I can along side my other domestic cleans. The next eight weeks will be busy! My darling dog has to go to the vets for a dental procedure under sedation next week, I’m dreading it, she gets so anxious and so insecure when in a strange place. I’m going to be a basket case that day! Fingers crossed all will be well. Have a lovely weekend all, enjoy the beautiful weather. Xx

Wow, I had a lot to catch up on. I’m sorry I’ve missed the last couple of weeks Friday roll call. No reason at all for this, except to say the weeks seem to be flying by like someone has pressed fast forward. All good down here, very hot but I know we are lucky as we have been almost 10 degrees cooler most days. It’s still way too hot for me though. I’ve been walking dogs at 6:30, showering, going to work, showering, all interspersed with hot flushes! I should be so slim (I’m not) We had a storm last night but it hasn’t broken the weather and today was sticky and hot. Hope you all get some respite from the intense heat soon. Xx

Such changeable weather this week, been so cold at times as well. Roll on some settled warm, sunny weather. Husband has finally built our garden fence to replace the one we lost in storm Gorreti. So looking forward to getting all my pots back in place and some nice new climbing plants and new trellis for it. Husband has gone out on the boat so hoping it will be fresh pollack for tea tonight, I’m off to do a couple of changeovers this morning, hoping they are nice ones! Have a lovely weekend all. Xx Sleeping for the weekend sounds damn good! I seem to wake up from a nights sleep tired at the moment. Think my HRT needs increasing.

In the words of Sunnyday “Tis Friday again” thought I beat you to it today. Hope everyone is ok and had a good week. Been a busy week here straight back into work and catching up on two weeks missed! The weather has made it a lot easier to come home and get back to it but my goodness, I wish I was back on ship! Nothing exciting planned for the weekend, a trip to get compost is as exciting as it gets! But may have to squeeze in a wander around B&M as well. Have a lovely long weekend all. 😘

Cait that is exactly what I do these days! Start one job get distracted and end up with mulitilple unfinished jobs in the go! Hope Andy’s eye surgery goes well. My mum has just had her other cataract op and sight has improved so much. We are now nearly through the bay of Biscay and it’s being kind on the way back! Home tomorrow and I can’t wait to see all the family and my darling woofers. Have a good weekend all. (Goes off muttering is it the weekend?)

Rome yesterday but it was not a vibe! Only arranged excursion we have done and never again. But we have done Rome on holiday before so not a disaster!

Took myself off to the sunset bar for a cheeky cocktail whilst husband was watching his team play football in the pub bar. Seemed like the sensible thing to do! IMG_8323.mov

We visited three out of the five cinque terre villages in Italy. Just stunning.

The Sagrada Basillica in Barcalona. The most amazing building I have ever seen. We also went 214 feet up the tower!

Hello from somewhere! Having the very best time. Am enjoying every moment and am so totally relaxed I’m almost horizontal! Been to some amazing places, Sen some amazing shows and have had some lovely meals (and cocktails) Hope everyone is keeping well.

You are so kind to remember. We travelled up to Southampton yesterday and have stayed in a lovely air b and b overnight. But imagine my sunrise when my son from London and his girlfriend turned up to surprise me for a night. I was totally gobsmacked and now understand the true meaning of that word! Cannot believe my husband surprised me like that! Just sat killing time now until 3pm boarding!

I sorted my mother in laws when she died as the boys couldn’t face it. Amazing how much was kept and fascinating to go through the decades of cuttings from the paper and all the decades worth of funeral orders of service! Keep looking for the glimmers that make you smile. I have everyone coming for afternoon tea tomorrow and then on Sunday we are taking mum and her friend out for dinner, so a nice chilled weekend before next weeks chaos begins! Trying to fit all my domestic cleans in and holiday changeovers from Easter and getting my place ship shape as brother coming to stay when we go away! I cannot wait to step on that ship and sail away next weekend! Have a terrific weekend all.

Hi all, lots of very mixed weather down here this week! From sitting in a t shirt on the beach to getting drenched within an hour of each other! I’ve been poorly, I think I’ve had Covid, really knocked me down and am taking a long time to shake it off. Only two weeks left until our cruise, so need it to go completely by then. I have my Grandson tomorrow, so looking forward to that, although may be challenging as he is refusing to take anything but the breast at the moment😬 Could be a long day! Also, what on earth has happened to weaning these days? It’s so very very different from when my two were babies! Am having to reeducate myself and zip my mouth!

Love that answer Froglet! Making a posey sounds like a lovely activity, make sure you share a photo. We also had high winds last night, luckily the fence has still not been replaced since storm Goretti! Although concrete fence posts and gravel boards were delivered today so hopefully when the weather drys up we can make a start. We are at my oldest sons for dinner on Sunday with my DILs family and my mum, will be nice not to be the one cooking roast for once! Will miss my baby boy though but London is too far to travel from for a day. Have a happy weekend all.

A couple of days where it’s been miserable but the rest has been dry and even seen a bright light in the sky for some days! Caught a very quick (blink and you miss it) glimpse of Prince William yesterday as I was driving the past the fire station he was visiting. Hoping for nice weather tomorrow so I can get out and clean my greenhouse. 37 days until our cruise, not that I’m counting or anything! Have a lovely weekend all.

Sunnyday Quinsy is horrible. Both myself and my son have had it. Mine got treated with a months worth of antibiotics, but it really was a horrid thing to have, especially as it was making me vomit as well. My throat is now scared from it and I quite regularly get very sore patches In my throat. Luckily they go as quickly as they come. My son ended up in A&E on a drip when he had it. Hope she soon recovers. Enjoy your lunch on Sunday, good to hear that your sister is much better. Louby Lou, this was a kit I bought in a mad moment. But I’m really more Autistic than artistic! So I don’t know who I was kidding! I’m not talented at all in handicrafts and it just looked a mess! Your offer is incredibly kind though, thank you. But I think I’ll just offload this somewhere! No plans here for the weekend except having everyone down for Sunday dinner. I do so love cooking roast for all the family. Hoping to see some sunshine but who knows! Have a lovely weekend all.

Could anyone of you Friday friends use some felting equipment? There are two felting mats, some bags of felt, felting needles etc. Happy to pop it in the In post locker and would only cost £2.59 postage.
