mundia Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 To help alleviate the stress of those not in the Olympic mood, I am looking forward to taking on 5 ex commercial hens at the weekend and would like help with naming them. In the past I have gone with flowers names, herbs, curries, 'night garden' and random names, so I'm running out of ideas. There are 5 so any ideas on a theme? Quote

mundia Posted August 8, 2016 Author Posted August 8, 2016 Very true, mouseketeer, my first lot were tikka, jalfrezi, vindaloo, and korma. But I'm veggie so they won't mind. Like the tea idea, hadn't thought of that. And the chocolate, although Mr mundia might take that as a shopping list.. 2 Quote

Cait Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 For some reason the idea of a chicken called Julian really makes me smile! Plus they are girlies, so it would have to be Julienne - then it sounds like a recipe! Plus you'd be shouting 'Dick, Dick!' and sound like a chicken yourself! 1 Quote

Froglet Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 I often worry about some of the things I do as in a 'just how odd am I?' kind of worry but I think I have tipped over the edge - I just found myself googling 'famous chickens'! 3 Quote
