sunnyday Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Picked this up from 'Twitter' - hmmm - not sure what's new - think it might be extra info at the 'bottom'?Poster for parents childcare.pdf 2 Quote
eyfs1966 Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 I too can't spot the difference. I will take it into work tomorrow and compare with the old one to see if I can see what is different. Quote
sunnyday Posted September 23, 2014 Author Posted September 23, 2014 (edited) I too can't spot the difference. I will take it into work tomorrow and compare with the old one to see if I can see what is different. I thinks it's the bit at the bottom...... It is - they have removed a phone number and added a website....... Do print off and display - 'they' will be looking for it on Inspection Edited September 23, 2014 by sunnyday 1 Quote
Masha Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 It seems to be the address, or rather not the whole address but the name. The poster I have up refers to The National Business Unit and this one is Applications, Regulatory and Contact Team (ARC) Also the website link has changed, and the bit in blue at the bottom Of course I can never be certain that the version I have on the wall is the most recent. Especially when they expect us to follow them on twitter to know when something has changed... I despair sometimes, presumably we could all potentially be pulled up for having an outdated version of the poster up? Thanks for pointing it out sunnyday 1 Quote
Fredbear Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Thank you Sunnyday. What would I do with out my forum buddies to keep us in the know. Quote
SueJ Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Thanks Sunnyday - have printed it off and will stick somewhere tomorrow 1 Quote
Masha Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Does anyone know why Ofsted can't just put a date on their publications so its easy to see if we have the most current version? Quote
Stargrower Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Thanks Sunnyday. I want to print it off and put it up, but the last time I did this, Mrs O turned up the next day. She was impressed we had such an up-to-date poster, but we're due an inspection and I don't want to tempt fate! Oh the dilemma... 1 Quote

Carol Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Thanks sunny day, I agree Masha it would be a good idea if Ofsted put a date on the posters. Quote

thumperrabbit Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Why oh why are they so ink heavy too  I agree that they should put dates on the bottom of everything - but they probably don't so that they can trip us up! Does anyone know if it MUST be A4 sized? just thinking I could print off A5 and save on ink, paper and laminating pouches! Quote
Guest Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 I don't laminate any more for things like this as it changes so often , its just a waste. Quote

woodlands1997 Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 I don't laminate either I stick it a 99p clip frame :-) Quote
thumperrabbit Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 I'm with Louby Lou, laminating is one of my fave things too! Well that and the fact with being packaway things get wrecked very quickly on our noticeboards when they aren't laminated Quote
