finleysmaid Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 Just wanted to tell you all how excited i am that our new pre-school building has opened its doors for the first time today! ...not quite proper hours yet as slight delay but that will happen shortly. I've been working at pre-school for 12 years and for ten of them i have been working on a new building project (this is the 3rd plan!) so it's taken a while but really pleased it's happened at last. I have been a bit reluctant to get excited about it because everything was a bit tight on the schedules but when the children came in this morning i promptly burst into tears!..after all it was their reaction i was waiting for and they were all really pleased to be there!! I just want to say thanks to you all for all the help on here too as lots of our paperwork has been plagerised from here so to all of you with a project in mind DONT GIVE UP !(but i hope it doesn't take 10 years! ) Quote

The Hall is for our sole use and is about 8 metres by 21 metres plus we have a staff room /locker room/ store and i have an OFFICE!!! then free flow to a decked area that is huge and a garden that is about 25 metres long which has just been turfed for us. Registered for 30 ...but we are only taking 28 so loads of space...so you all green with envy yet Quote

We are just embarking on a massive fundraising project so that we can upgrade and move to an Elliot hut on our schools site, it's very old and I would love to have a new build like you!!
