  1. fingers crossed ๐Ÿคž for laptop. My daughter dropped her phone down the toilet- without giving to much information......... someone used toilet, flushed it ๐Ÿ™„- and the phone worked fine after a couple day, although no one wants to hold it now though ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ
  2. Well I registered on the 18th- and just got a password today! lynned55- we're in tier 2 too.... our county actually asked to be put in- my daughter has far more cases in her area but they're still in T1 (10 mins drive away ) ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
  3. Hope you've had a good day ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿซ๐Ÿฅ‚ xx
  4. Hope you're feeling better soon ๐Ÿ’ xxx
  5. We've been practically an indoor setting since we returned in September. We have a really small impractical outdoor space, and the park has been difficult to use at the moment- as the children always want to use the park equipment like we used to- and I'm not allowing that at the moment as it has other uses there most of the time. We do have a massive hall though and we have the doors and windows open at one end which we treat as our outdoor area, we've cut down on resources, and rotate......... and get through a lot of 'all in one' spray each week! Staff only ever were masks when cleaning ๐Ÿคฃ Joking aside I'm really beginning to worry that a lot of early years workers (and some other sectors) are going to have lung problems in years to come from all the chemical spraying ๐Ÿ˜ข We do all ours outside first thing in the morning.
  6. Well today I've been offered an antibody test as part of ONS survey ๐Ÿ˜ณ, and Andy was offered a covid test as part of the survey earlier this week. All good, apart from the fact our Drs have given the wrong postcode for us- so probably neither of us will be able to participate- as the couriers won't be able to find us to collect the samples! My daughter that lives across the border in a Tier 1 is desperate for us to do them- so I've put her on the case to sort it ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ
  7. Essex, and actually in a very low case area!
  8. Us too ๐Ÿ˜ข (and I'll admit I've had a little cry today ) I hope you can still make your birthday special though xxxx
  9. What amuses us is we space them out for snack and lunch, any group type activities etc............... we turn around and there's 10 children all huddled up together under a table! ๐Ÿ˜ญ
  10. Hello ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š, sounds like ๐Ÿฎ ๐Ÿฐ needed. I went to bed at 7.30 last night and slept solid until 7 this morning ๐Ÿ™€ Totally unheard of for me!
  11. Not going to lie - the cleaning is doing my head in big-time ๐Ÿ˜ญ
  12. Love them!
  13. And we were worried when 3 tested positive in a school about 10 miles from us ๐Ÿ˜ณ Have to admit I think you may have our share of SEND, we have none this year so far- but we do have 'red flags' for one little child showing classic signs of AS but might just be early days of settling in.
  14. We've been a bubble of 35 over the week since we opened in Sept works well for us
  15. Been thinking about Mr S too. x
  16. Great end of the week for you. I was so pleased this week when a little girl said an unprompted 'thank-you' to me for doing up her coat. We are in a quite affluent area and this little girl is not our usual clientele- very young parents that lack confidence in their parenting skills.... seems they have raised the politest child within our group though ๐Ÿ˜Š
  17. It is for me! Off the next two days ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ฌ I am seriously trying to cut my hours, so making the most while I still can ๐Ÿ˜ณ I'm sure it won't be long before we start having problems with self isolation etc.
  18. At least you got to peg some out, it's been constant rain here since yesterday, I'm even considering putting a few side lights on to try and cheer the place up a bit ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
  19. Good to hear Mr Sunny is doing well. I too am very tired, I think it must be the constant 'back of the brain' always being on the alert ? Our children have all settled well- far better than we ever expected to be honest- but I still feel totally shattered. I have a long TDL not helped by my daughter coming over every time I'm not at work, and on my short days. ๐Ÿ˜ณ Bless her, I think the lockdown really effected her mental health, she told me today she wants to see us whenever she can in case we go into lockdown again ๐Ÿ˜ข I don't think it helped that they bought a 'doer upper' just before lockdown (feb) now it's very slow actually getting any work done. I do get to see the granddaughter though
  20. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ณ
  21. Sending positive vibes your way xx
  22. I got up late and found a cat on my bed! Jimbob strikes again ๐Ÿคฃ (Andy was up early and let hime in๐Ÿ™„)
  23. ๐Ÿ˜ Good result! I had some very expensive honey delivered to my at the beginning of lockdown - I phoned the company and it turned out it was sort of delivered to the wrong address- weird thing was the name was almost identical to mine! ๐Ÿ˜ณ Anyway, it belonged to house number 8 and we are 18- however the rightful owner insisted that she lived at number 18 and I was wrong about my own house number ๐Ÿ˜ณ We did have a laugh in the end as it turned out she was staying at her mother-in-laws during lockdown and she genuinely believed it was number 18........... she profusely apologised as she had ordered another 6 parcels to number 18. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
  24. Every thing crossed ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž๐Ÿคž
  25. Sounds like a good plot for a children's book!
