Good morning - 'tis Friday How is everyone? Not the best week here - we have both got flippin' Covid - having successfully avoided it for five long years it got us 🤦♀️ the best news is that Mr S is completely asymptomatic can't believe it but so very grateful for that - I have been proper poorly but hopefully slowly improving now 🤞 Our lovely sons and daughters-in-law have taken over the 'caring duties' that we have for my very elderly mother-in-law so that's been really good All we have to do now is keep ourselves to ourselves and wait it out - I know that new guidance doesn't require anymore than 5 days isolation - but no way Jose that we will be out and about until we get negative test results I couldn't live with myself if I made anyone else ill At least we have lovely sunny weather! 🤣 Take care all x

Good morning - 'tis Friday Another week that has just whooshed by. Hope those still working have had a lovely half-term break. Have looked after youngest two grandchildren for a couple of days - only to find that youngest grandson now has Chickenpox 🤦♀️ sure it will all be fine 🤞 he is fine in himself just a wee bit spotty... Still really enjoying my little Knit and Natter group (aka Stitch and Bitch!) we are now passing our blankets on to our nearest Hospice, they use them for fund-raising and/or for patients - we currently have six ready to go and it's a lovely way to use them. Off to Sainbo's now - Mr needs a passport photo for his Blue Badge renewal - I am not looking forward to completing his application form - but hey ho such is life! So mild today which is lovely, but shame about the rain... Onwards and upwards! Take care all x

For those still working - it's very nearly half-term - think I say this every year but it never fails to surprise me that this half-term marks the halfway through the school year mark... Dear goodness it's flippin' cold again - I realise that I shouldn't be surprised by this! Hope that the weekend is kind to all x

Dance/fitness class - woohoo - go louby! Decluttering - I know what you mean - very much needed here - I did make a start with my airing cupboard and Mr S wardrobe and drawers - have to do so when he is not looking - too much of the "oh I might use/wear that again" 🤦♀️ 🤣

Good morning - 'tis Friday Flippin' storm Eowyn can do one - have been awake from 4am and gave up trying to get back to sleep just after 5 - will definitely need a 'nana nap' this afternoon! I'm wondering exactly how one plays 'baby born' 🤷♀️🤣 I asked my grandson (aged 7) if he was enjoying trying 'school dinners' - all a bit of a big deal for him as he favours a pretty limited diet...he told me he likes "the pasta with mayonnaise and vegetables" - I said "oh that's so good, what sort of vegetables" - he replied "cucumber and turnips" 🤣🤣🤣

Youngest grandchildren are here..."can we do some drawing nana" - set them up with lots of drawing equipment - "nana what colour are intestines" - the mind boggles! 🤣

Good morning - 'tis Friday How is everyone? By 'eck it is so flippin' cold - not sure what else I expect for January - but I really, really don't like it - brrrr - we didn't get much snow but what we did get is lingering on. This week seems to have flown by and the coming week looks to be busy too - but no complaints, I will take it as it comes... Have two youngest grandchildren tomorrow which should be fun! Good morning - 'tis Friday Goodness it's very cold today - brrrrr Looking forward to getting a bit of 'normality' back in my life - but know that I am lucky that doesn't including working! Good luck to those returning to work for Spring term, hope it gets off to a good start. Have always wondered why it's 'spring term' and not 'winter'... Still have little granddog here - she will be going home tomorrow - hoping her family can beat the snow that is forecast for up country. Take care all x
