Thanks so much louby - that is all so encouraging.
I don't usually 'knock' the NHS - Mr S has received some outstanding treatment...however, this all happened on Thursday, my DIL went straight down, 111 said ambulance unless you have someone to take you - that was easy my DIL drove her to hospital where 'eventually' she was given a CT scan and that was how they diagnosed TIA as opposed to Stroke - not too bad so far...but then they released her at 8:15pm with no info apart from call in at Tesco and buy some aspirin - that's dreadful.
Thankfully the 'specialist team' rang on Friday morning and gave her further instructions e.g. do not drive for at least 28 days...
Oh well, onwards and upwards, she now has a MRI scan and assessment tomorrow morning so hopefully this will be informative and should lead to appropriate meds being prescribed.
