On a much brighter note - Mr S and I have been to watch our youngest granddaughters drama school's production of 'Annie' this afternoon and very good it was too - very proud nana and granddad!

Good morning - 'tis Friday What a horrible week we have had ... dear friend died Monday night, not expected at all and yesterday my DIL's mum suffered a TIA. I have had to educate myself pretty fast about TIAs - I had no real understanding of the implications for her... Hope that everyone else is having a better time and can enjoy the long weekend x

Good morning - 'tis Friday Phew another hot day - am looking forward to the slightly lower temperatures that are forecast for the weekend... Hope everyone is okay? I have big news! Well it's big to me 🙃 I have a new granddog - he is a beautiful Labradoodle you may remember that my youngest son and DIL lost their very elderly Chocolate Lab - their remaining dog, Golden Retriever, went into a decline, he was so depressed...his new 'brother' has been life-changing for him, he is back to his usual happy self and of course, we are all head over heels in love with the new addition! 🐶❤️ Hope that the weekend is kind to all x

Oh Cait 😥 that's hard going... I do sigh when Mr S 'scrounges' yet more 'stuff' - usually wood and tools - knowing that (almost certainly) I will be faced with sorting at some point. If it helps, my late brother-in-law had loads and loads of 'specialist' books which my sister was able to give to Oxfam - she contacted them, told them (roughly) what was available and a very nice young man came and took two car loads away - they wouldn't be displayed in any shops but would be advertised and sold online... Good luck with it all x

Oh yes I know all about that a case of 'why did I even start this'! 🙃 At our singing group/choir on Tuesday the leader was telling us that her lap-top wasn't 'speaking to' her printer - I said "just let me know what you need, I can easily run off some song lyrics" - famous last words - my blessed printer has now thrown a hissy fit and at the moment I can't fulfil my promise - arrghh

Good morning - 'tis Friday Hope everyone is okay? Not sure that I have anything even remotely interesting to report from here...although that said said we did have some 'epic' weather here on Monday with the hugest storm which found us experiencing positively biblical thunder, lightening, rain and even hail...many village residents lost internet with 'fried' modems - we were spared so feeling very lucky. Forecast is really good for today fingers crossed that is accurate. Granddog is being an absolute sweetie - she really is a dear little thing - we are one week down with one more to go. Take care all and hope the weekend is kind x

Oh no 29th - that's horrible for them☹️ Well done on the weeding - so satisfying when you can see a real difference Daughter-in-law was back just after 12 - she had just picked up my two youngest grandchildren from school - she had a sunflower plant in hand and said "please would you 'save my life' and plant this up, we are getting straight off now"! Obviously no problem at all...

Good morning - 'tis Friday (louby beat me to it!) Phew - agreed louby it is already very warm - going to be a real 'Scorchio' of a day down south before it all breaks down later ☀️🌩️ Have taken delivery of a granddog this morning - this time it is our beautiful Sprocker - she will be here for two weeks 🐶❤️ currently she is in her favourite place - lying on a nice comfy mat by the open French Doors on 'cat watch' - my neighbour has three cats - we won't be seeing them in our garden for the next fortnight! 🤣 My plan today is to get all of my washing through and out on the line - I am winning so far - two loads out and final one in machine now - I don't have a tumble drier - my choice - so I need to be a bit organised before the rains come! Loved watching school children walk past this morning - most carrying gift bags - lucky teachers! Hope everyone okay? Have the best of weekends x

Good morning - 'tis Friday How is everyone? Not long now - end of term/school year is nearly here! Granddog has been just lovely - he will be going home tomorrow - will be 'replaced' with a different granddog next Friday! July is certainly dog sitting month for me - all good very happy to have them. Two youngest grandchildren have had fabulous school reports - very proud of them ❤️ Loving the tennis! Not loving these mad temperatures! Onwards and upwards Have a good weekend all x

Good morning - 'tis Friday How is everyone? The practice run with granddog in preparation for his solo stay went well - not sure what I was so worried about really - hope that's not famous last words as he arrives today for his week long stay! Didn't enjoy those extreme temperatures at the beginning of the week - must be an age thing - at one time there would have been no such thing as too hot for me 🤦♀️🤣 Loving the tennis! Hope that the weekend is kind to all x
