Good morning - 'tis Friday Hope everyone is okay? What beautiful weather - forecast not so great though! I am expecting one of my 'granddogs' to be delivered this morning - she will be staying through to Monday Hope that the long weekend is kind to all x

Good morning - 'tis Friday Easter weekend was lovely, lots of time with family which is by far my favourite way to spend my time... Just off now for a trim but nothing else planned for today Hope everyone is okay and that for those still working the new term has got off to a good start for you. Have a good weekend all x

Good morning - 'tis Friday Oh Mousie - every good wish for the safe arrival of your 'little hatchling' ❤️ Matilda was really good (last Friday) - I want to know why my youngest granddaughter can learn lines and be absolutely word perfect and yet can't apply that to her weekly spellings 🤦♀️🤣 I am organising a little garden Easter egg hunt for the two youngest today - should be fun! Sunday lunch invitation to eldest son's house - looking forward to that. Happy Easter one and all x

Off to watch youngest granddaughter in 'Matilda' this afternoon - she has spent the week at a drama workshop type thingy - really looking forward to that. Hope the weekend is kind to all x

Good morning - 'tis Friday Another busy week which has just flown by... How is everyone - those still working - hopefully all breaking up today for Easter! Isn't the weather just amazing - today 23 degrees forecast for my little corner of the country - yay! Hope that the weekend is kind to all x

Phew - thank goodness for that x I found myself on 'the two week' pathway last year - this for suspected bladder cancer - I had planned my funeral 🤦♀️ what a nutcase I am - I had a CT scan and then a cystoscopy (not a nice experience) and was given the 'all clear' - the relief was just amazing.

😂 I enjoy saying to Mr S - don't worry about your bedside clock I will change that for you - he has no idea that all I have to do is press the dst button! 😂 He is always so impressed that I know how to change it for him - shhhh - don't tell him 🤣

Good morning - 'tis Friday Goodness another week has just flown by. We had some 'excitement' here on Saturday when a friend who was very kindly delivering some wood for Mr S (wood for carving) managed to reverse his van straight into our little shed 🤦♀️ never mind - no-one hurt that is the important bit - shed has been fixed up...van hmm not too sure... We enjoyed a family get together for youngest son's birthday on Sunday which was just lovely. Hasn't the weather been beautiful although it is chilly and overcast today. Looking forward to watching youngest granddaughter in a drama school performance on Sunday - it is titled 'Dare to Dream' - should be good! Hope that the weekend is kind to all x

Good morning - 'tis Friday How is everyone? We are 'virus free' here - both tested negative on Monday which was great. Nothing much to report from here - by 'eck the temperature has changed - yesterday we had rain, hail and even a few flakes of snow - brrrr Hope that the weekend is kind to you all x

Good morning - 'tis Friday How is everyone? Not the best week here - we have both got flippin' Covid - having successfully avoided it for five long years it got us 🤦♀️ the best news is that Mr S is completely asymptomatic can't believe it but so very grateful for that - I have been proper poorly but hopefully slowly improving now 🤞 Our lovely sons and daughters-in-law have taken over the 'caring duties' that we have for my very elderly mother-in-law so that's been really good All we have to do now is keep ourselves to ourselves and wait it out - I know that new guidance doesn't require anymore than 5 days isolation - but no way Jose that we will be out and about until we get negative test results I couldn't live with myself if I made anyone else ill At least we have lovely sunny weather! 🤣 Take care all x

Good morning - 'tis Friday Another week that has just whooshed by. Hope those still working have had a lovely half-term break. Have looked after youngest two grandchildren for a couple of days - only to find that youngest grandson now has Chickenpox 🤦♀️ sure it will all be fine 🤞 he is fine in himself just a wee bit spotty... Still really enjoying my little Knit and Natter group (aka Stitch and Bitch!) we are now passing our blankets on to our nearest Hospice, they use them for fund-raising and/or for patients - we currently have six ready to go and it's a lovely way to use them. Off to Sainbo's now - Mr needs a passport photo for his Blue Badge renewal - I am not looking forward to completing his application form - but hey ho such is life! So mild today which is lovely, but shame about the rain... Onwards and upwards! Take care all x
