trekker Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 When I check the home page I am seeing the top 'most recent topics' section full up but on the 'last twenty posts' section I'm only seeing two listed for several weeks now and they don't seem to change very often...not sure whats going on / whats changed - I always used to be able to check in quickly and see what was new from the top page but am now having to log in and look at 'new content' every time... just wondered if anyone else having this issue and how to fix it :-( 2 Quote
louby loo Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 but am now having to log in and look at 'new content' every time... just wondered if anyone else having this issue and how to fix it :-( You mean you actually log out? I've had major palpitations this evening because my wireless has died on my old faithful laptop and I couldn't remember my password to log in elsewhere!!! 2 Quote
mundia Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 I'm not getting that, mine seems up to date, it even has this very thread on the most recent posts. I'm sure the forum gurus will pop along and give you eminently sensible advise. Quote
Beau Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 I am no techie but every time someone has problems the first suggestion always seem to be to try clearing the cache on your browser. Beyond that you'll need someone who might know what they're talking about. 1 Quote
Rafa Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Ahh happening to me too....thought it might be because our LA no longer subscribing so only getting half the info! Ha ha Quote
Sharky Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Just clicked back to Home Page and it happened again. The last entry was 19 April and I had to go to two old entries and click back to Home Page twice before I got to today again. I had thought it was just my old pc having problems but if others are having the same perhaps not. Quote
Conker Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 Same here, but it's very random! Bit like me today Quote
zigzag Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Yes me too, happening on both the iPad and desktop, but this morning it is ok. Quote
larnielass Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Doh! I thought it was a bit quiet on the Forum, hence 'old' topics! (What is a cache and how do you clear it??) Quote
trekker Posted April 27, 2017 Author Posted April 27, 2017 well I'm very glad to hear its not just me....still not sure what to do about it though ...i'm also not entirely sure how to clear the cache. Quote
Beau Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 This was the first link that came up on Google about it. https://kb.iu.edu/d/ahic I usually leave cookies as clearing those will also clear out any saved passwords. Quote
FSFRebecca Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 Morning all! I'm here today, I'll get someone to have a look and see if they can shed any light on this for you Quote
