Cait Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 Does anyone have a contact phone number for the charity commission? The only one I can find is the 669197 one, and that's for technical help. That's not what I need - I need to speak with someone about a different problem. It's not whistleblowing or reporting, and those are the only other contact bits I can find. Can you actually phone them anymore! Quote
Rea Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 It doesnt look as if they have a phone number anymore does it? They wrote to me last week and theres nothing on the letter, I tried the old number but it only said I'd dialled an incorrect number. Govt cut backs! Quote
Rea Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 Actually I just googled and found this, dont know if its any use but it says it will connect you with the customer services. 0151 703 1749 Quote
BroadOaks Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 Nope can't find many contact numbers except the one you mentioned. It seems to be all forms now. This is a long shot but you could try the number on the website below? http://www.hiddencontactnumber.co.uk/charity-commission/ 1 Quote
sunnyday Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 Can you actually phone them anymore! I'm not sure that you can......I needed to earlier in the year - not Pre-school related - a Village Charity that I am involved with - couldn't find a way to contact them Quote
eyfs1966 Posted October 18, 2016 Posted October 18, 2016 I ended up emailing a query....they took over one month to reply, so I hope you don't have an urgent query!! Quote

poppins Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 The Charity Commission helpline seems to be the only way to speak to someone these days (tel: 0300 066 9197). Once through, you are asked to input different numbers depending on your query, be prepared to be put on hold for quite a while, also the phone line is only open mornings. Hope that helps Quote
Fredbear Posted October 19, 2016 Posted October 19, 2016 I often find you can't actually speak to a human being anymore. Which can be quite frustrating when the website doesn't actually offer you the facility for a query or advice. Grrrr. Funny enough I was also looking for. CC number last week and have to say gave up. 1 Quote

Cait Posted October 20, 2016 Author Posted October 20, 2016 Sigh. We've had a letter and there seems no way of responding. Letter says we don't have to, but you know how it is!!! Quote
