Did anyone else suffer the indignity of a knitted swimming costume - I can just about remember something along those lines, or maybe one of my parents had one - I definitely remember a rather snazzy ruched satin like one! Totally impracticable.

Sorry no - I'm obviously far too young..........more innocent whistling......

Ahem - could I please remind you all that balaclavas are no laughing matter :o

I've got mine on now - it's a tad sweaty but I've unstitched round the ear flaps and I've knotted them atop of my head to get a bit of ventilation through

Sssh - been very busy disguising my Mark. He's 6 foot and a teacher (true) - I've disguised him as a flamingo today

Does he eat a lot of prawns and how does he get on with standing on one leg?

(now desperately hoping that he does in fact have two legs)

Did you know a flock of flamingos is called a flamboyance - that made me smile today

... and also, on a very hot day (when there is a chance of sunburn) they are collectively called a flambe

Seriously wondering about you lot!!! Its just like that old saying 'You don't have to be mad ....... but it helps'

Don't wonder - just go with it! It's surprisingly easy to have somewhat surreal conversations!

well Finley wrestled it from the postman (whom he hates!) and is currently wearing it trotting round the garden, showing the guinea pig...she's NOT impressed

Am happy to make her one too?!
