Froglet Posted September 6 Posted September 6 Oops, just realised it's Saturday which means I forgot Friday! I have had a productive week doing lots of jobs that I normally avoid. Day out at Hardwick Hall too, sampling September's 'scone of the month' - apple crumble, it was good. My smallest small person is two very soon and grandpa (my dad) is making him a mud kitchen so has been consulting me on it - can't wait to see the finished object. His big sister has a birthday a couple of weeks after that and I'm crocheting her a 'ballerina doll' as per her request at the start of the year - I'm hoping she hasn't outgrown the idea! Have a good weekend all and a lovely week ahead of you! 1 Quote

Well, yesterday (Friday)I went to log into my 'Thursday' teams meeting - and was very confused to be able to read the minutes from the meeting... then the penny dropped!🙄🤣 2 Quote

sunnyday Posted September 12 Author Posted September 12 Good morning - 'tis Friday! Busy week here so hoping for a quiet weekend - hope that's not 'famous last words' Take care all x 2 Quote
Froglet Posted September 12 Posted September 12 I remembered! I'm feeling pretty proud of myself this week - I have done my daily walks well... daily for the whole of the month so far and I have also done a couple of things I find tricky which is motivating me to keep doing more of them! Today (after my walk!) I'm making some English muffins, continuing with the spare room sort out (there is actual carpet in there - it's been hidden for ages!) and trying to find an electrician to install an extra socket for when I turn the spare room into a craft room. I'm planning to go to an arts festival on Sunday and on Saturday probably seeing my mum and dad. Take care everyone! 2 Quote
louby loo Posted September 13 Posted September 13 Opps! Late again 🙃 Week two done ✔️...... and now I'm off for two weeks 😁 Nothing planned- but I really must tidy the house! Very quiet here, so I hope everyone is keeping well. Sunnyday- hope you get to relax this weekend. Forglet - may your motivation continue! cx 3 Quote

zigzag Posted September 19 Posted September 19 Good afternoon, the weather is not glorious but it’s actually DRY! So will take that any day over the miserable rain that we have had. I’m so glad that I was organised this year and did quite an early allotment and garden clean up! Good job as we seem to have gone straight into winter! Hope everyone has a lovely weekend. Xx 1 Quote

Mouseketeer Posted September 23 Posted September 23 Hi all, hope everyone is making the most of the late sunshine ☀️ I hope your terms have started well, now we have the the new ‘inspection tool kit’ to tackle on top of all the other expectations to have in place….slightly annoyed that after years of fine tuning the “learning walk’ it’s being scrapped and no idea if we’re all going back in the pot for inspections, maybe with so many settings closing they have inspectors hanging around with nothing to do 🤷♀️ zigzag - huge congratulations on the arrival of your gorgeous little Grandson 💙 1 1 Quote
Cait Posted Thursday at 22:15 Posted Thursday at 22:15 I’m starting my Friday after saying goodbye to my little girlie who’d just had enough. She stayed by by side for this last 12 months to the day since I lost my husband and I’m so grateful for that. She had renal failure and had been slowly going downhill and for the last couple of weeks I felt that she was hanging on to complete the year for me. We had her 6.5 years after rescuing her from a breeding box when she was 8 years old. Thought we would give her a couple of years of happiness, so it’s been incredible. A more perfect little dog you couldn’t hope to meet, no barking and just gentle, friendly and so grateful. My heart is freshly broken tonight. 1 1 Quote

zigzag Posted Saturday at 17:28 Posted Saturday at 17:28 Oh Cait, so sad to read this. I’m so sorry for you. We are so blessed to have dogs in our lives but the time is just too short. How amazing that she stayed with you for exactly a year after losing your husband. I’m sending you the biggest virtual hug. Xxx 1 Quote
