narnia Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 I swear by the gods of snot that if one more parent walks in here, picks the hard snot off their child's face and flicks it across the room, I will launch myself at them and rip their nose off their face!! Or, worse, the ones who wipe a fully loaded child's nose onto their OWN skirt, tshirt etc. I am often heard bellowing, 'we have tissues for that, PLEASE use them'.......and am almost always ignored. There. I feel better now. 6 Quote
FSFRebecca Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 Well, really! Those parents would fit firmly in PD, Health and Self-care, 40-60 emerging if I was assessing them 'shows some understanding ... of hygiene' Quote

manor Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 (edited) Same here Sunnyday- and it tends to be the thick green type that just peeks out and when you reach for the tissue, the child either sniffs and it shoots back up or they slide their nose along their sleeve- L O V E L Y! lsp Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 Funny you should mention this. We have been discussing this today. The 'merits' of the different thickness, how far can they be fired across the room by sneezing and is it a cold or the parents favourite - hayfever! Lovely!!!!! 1 Quote
