narnia Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Lovely, FREE publication from Community Playthings available now : 'Woodwork in the Early Years'.......I'd highly recommend it. And, if you're interested, there is currently a very sturdy CP woodwork bench for sale on ebay......... What i love about this new publication is that it is full of inspirational ideas, advice about H/S, ratios etc...........common sense stuff. It also gives a list of suggested suppliers to buy equipment from. 1 Quote
narnia Posted August 8, 2015 Author Posted August 8, 2015 Nope. I don't have any connection with them. It's a great publication though Quote
Cait Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 They have several really good free publications. I had many of them and they were always very practical and didn't overly promote their ranges of equipment 1 Quote
mundia Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Guess who read the title and thought she'd missed some really important child protection document! 5 Quote
lsp Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Dont worry - I did the same! We should have realised when we saw it was a post from narnia lol. Maybe its the connection with wardrobes and wood?????? Only joking - I would have more CP stuff if possible and do try to include at least one piece if we are lucky enough to get any grants. I try to replace the items that get the hardest life first. 1 Quote

Stargrower Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 Yep, me too. It's a sad (but realistic) world we live in that we jumped to that conclusion! Quote
Guest Posted August 10, 2015 Posted August 10, 2015 'Guess who read the title and thought she'd missed some really important child protection document!' Glad I am one of the crowd too - I started to prepare myself for yet another document to read when I have a pile of books I want to read! Quote
