blondie Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 we have been talking/ learning about chinese new year this week as we have several chinese children in the setting. anyway, what a fantastic surprise one of the boys dads brought in a real dragon head and costume for the children to look at, dance in and talk about - they absolutely loved it ( we still have it ready for tomorrow). apparently dad takes part in the dragon dance each year in the town centre and has for the last 10-15 years - the dragon he brought in is one that they practice with - moving eyes, eye lashes, mouth etc - the whole real thing - it is amazing. A fantastic day was had by all - what a great dad !!!!! 7 Quote
