My First Day at Preschool

Does everyone have a simple form that they use to pass onto parents about their child's first day at preschool. Ours is so dated and I would love to hear what others use.

We take a photo of them and write some notes about all the lovely things they have been doing and then post it on tapestry.

We do the same as diesel10.

We do the same via Tapestry and write it as though the child has wrote it .

We do as above but don't have tapestry, just put it in their LJ

This is what we use.... and write it as though from the child.

We do a picture and take notes, then write it up and put it in their learning journey.

This is the one our LA gave us. We sometime change 'first day' to 'first week' based on child's attendance, or in the case of very young ones that might cry a lot on their first day, we would then use first week. In the blank box we add a photo of the child. As we now use Tapestry, we take a photo of it and then add it to their obs on Tapestry.
