Half-term break....

Recommended Posts

As ever, apologies to those not having a break!

I am beginning to feel quite 'guilty' - can't believe it's half-term already - I feel as if we are rarely at work these days - if i feel like this - how must parents be feeling? :o :1b

That said - next term will be a long 'slog'.......

Nothing special planned here - some pottering about hard work in my garden.....s'pose I had better start printing off new starter packs........hmmm have plenty of 'home' paperwork to sort out......

Anyone doing anything exciting with their break?

I've got a little sloppy in the kitchen, so that's having a jolly good clean this half term. I know what you mean about hardly being open, and some of ours were off during the previous two weeks with chicken pox, so they will really begin to feel they have hardly been to pre school this term.

Sooooo ready for a break actually. Going down with tonsillitis I think, so slobbed on the sofa already. I just hope it clears up so I can enjoy the week off. Why is it we get ill as soon as it's holidays!

:( that's always the way Cait, hope you feel better soon.

I'm taking my 5year old son to see Scooby Doo at the theatre tomorrow, and then catching up on housework, school paperwork and writing reports. Happy holidays everyone x

I'm starting to clear 22 years of accumulated 'stuff' as I prepare to close my preschool. Gonna take some time and will need copious amount of wine and time in the hot tub to recover from I feel

Get antibiotics quick!!!

I went down with this at Easter - I swear I have never felt so ill in my whole life. I kept thinking I could just sleep/rest and recover without intervention .......

I am sleeping, writing reports, finalising all the details for my new kitchen (will be lots more cooking once it's done but in the meantime I'm going to try Eccles cakes as I've never made them before and have found a willing victim to experiment on)! Might get a bit of garden tidying done if there's some ok weather and hopefully throw enough out of my dining room so I can book plasterers!
