Rea
I googled EYDCP for Birmingham in the vain hope it would lead me to something with info. Some LAs have wonderful sites, full of valid and relevant information for practitioners, tip, templates, advice, forums all sorts of stuff. The link I followed took me to this. http://www.birminghamchildcare.co.uk/ I particularly like the article on the glass stand
Steve
That's quite bizarre, isn't it? I think what's happened is that the EYDCP released the domain and someone else has bought it, filling it with 'useful' information and links. Looks like they haven't really finished the job, judging by the non-functioning menu items on the left. Here's how it used to look in 2004. :1b
Stargrower
Have to say my favourite was the highly informative piece on types of food to take camping.
Cait
I particularly like the article on the glass stand  That's extremely helpful, isn't it. Particularly the comment that they can come in a variety of different types of glass. Bizarre!
Rea
Yes, I liked the camping food information, not as much choice there as there was on the glass table though, who knew there was so much different glass? Steve, thats how I remember it, it was never very useful in all honesty but better than what it ended up as.

Guest
Rea, that's great, thanks! 'More people are killed annually by donkeys than die in air crashes' is my favourite so far although I'm still more worried about cows... http://www.kentnews....he_uk_1_1236485 I blame the 999 emergency programme that I watched 18 years ago while pregnant ! eyfs1966
This cheered me up no end, where else would you find information on lice, radio codes, online back up etc all "under one roof". It's like a virtual junk yard!
