Cait Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 So it's the time of year for making up registers, and seeing some unusual names This coming year we have a Tiana (Tee-anna), Tienner (Tee-enna), Tyana (Tie-anna) and Ianna (Eee-anna) for goodness sake! A Mia and a Meya and some unusual names - Regan (girl) Fallon, Layton (boy), Kalan (boy, pronounced as if it had a double L), Kai, Millie, Alfie (2 of those!) Louis, Louie, Mischa, Solomon to name but a few! Anyone else got some different ones this time? Quote
sunnyday Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Crikey! Nope nothing too unusual amongst mine.........just a couple of 'firsts' - Carter and Darci - not names that we have ever had before :1b Quote
Pimms o'clock? Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 We have a Millie too this year and if we get a Mandy to go with out Molly I'm sooo tempted to burst into song "Millie, Mollie, Mandy sweet as sugar candy..." Our 'new' name is Conna - just the spelling being unusual as we have had Conner's before. Quote

Froglet Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 Sunny - I just know you're waiting for a Robin, Marian, Friar, Much or Will to be on your register. In fact - which names would be on your fantasy register?! I find it fascinating the way names change - a couple of years ago I had my first 'Charles/Charlie' took me ages to get used to it - wouldn't bat an eyelid if I saw it now! 1 Quote
