Ladies and gentlemen........................here is your annual reminder! Yesterday was the 3rd anniversary of my diagnosis of breast cancer, and i promised that i would mark my anniversaries with a reminder to you all to 'check your bits'.......so ladies, it's breast check day and gents...........check your dangly bits............and if any of you find ANYTHING suspicious: lumps, bumps, nipples turning in,discharges, rough skin that is new to you........anything that you didn't have before, or which you HAVE had for a while and have been ignoring, then get yourself to your GP as soon as possible. Here endeth the reminder...........see you next September! ( two more to go and then I am considered clear.......yay for me!!!!!!)

I'll add a reminder to go if you are offered any scans, mammogram etc. I had no symptoms but the breast cancer showed up on my first mammogram.

Take care of yourselves.

Thank you Narnia.. and for including the men too....

My son has just had his 5 year check and has been declared clear .. no more check ups, bloods or anything..

Please remember.. men can get it from as young as 14 and it is most prevalent in the late teens early twenties age groups... (My son was 21)
