Sue R Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 OK Steve! I'll put my contacts in when I log on in future Sue Quote
Verona Posted April 30, 2004 Author Posted April 30, 2004 Trea They say everyone has a double - where are you from? Sue J Quote
Verona Posted April 30, 2004 Author Posted April 30, 2004 Hi Anita When are you going to put your photo on Sue J Quote
Guest Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 Hi Sue J I've just put on an avatar. Your instructions were spot on! I don't think I'll bother with a photo! Quote
Verona Posted April 30, 2004 Author Posted April 30, 2004 Hi Anita I like the avatar - well done - easy wasn't it? very appropriate. I could always help you with a photo if you want!! (hee hee!) Sue Quote
Beau Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 Sue R, I only noticed the mini profile thing yesterday and didn't like to ask in case it had always been there. Quote
Beau Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 By the way the avatar is great. For some reason it seems to sum you up perfectly...... Quote
Sue R Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 Yes, Seahorses are a passion, but I just couldn't find a decent one - Maybe I'll grow up one day and learn how to make my own!! Now why on earth would a green jumping bean remind you of me, Carol..... Sue Quote
Guest Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 aaww, Sue, I'd started to like that seahorse. Diane. Quote
Sue R Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 Sorry, Diane! Tell you what, I'll swap them around - keep you on your toes! Sue Quote
Guest Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 Hi Sue (J) I'm from Essex, are you anywhere near? Trea Quote
Beau Posted May 2, 2004 Posted May 2, 2004 Having admitted I didn't notice the mini profile thing along with Sue I just wondered something else. Have we always had an edit function for our posts or is that a recent arrival too?? Sue R - glad you like the avatar. Its in honour of National Bird Chorus Day (or whatever it was!!) and is especially for Mundia!! Quote
Steve Posted May 2, 2004 Posted May 2, 2004 Hi Carol - No, the edit feature has always been there for your own posts (you can't edit other people's, for obvious reasons ). There are, however, a number of extra features which will turn up in the next few weeks - I'll award points to the people who notice them first... (and what do points mean people?) Quote
Guest Posted May 2, 2004 Posted May 2, 2004 Have just managed to load photo (with help!) and I am old enough to be mother to most of you - but I don't care!!!!! Gail Quote
Steve Posted May 2, 2004 Posted May 2, 2004 Hi Gail - Well done yourself! Nice happy looking picture - is that an Ice Cream sundae? You'll be glad to know you couldn't be my mother! Quote
Guest Posted May 2, 2004 Posted May 2, 2004 What's happened here! My last post makes no sense now, I was replying to Steve's question of what do points make? Quote
Steve Posted May 3, 2004 Posted May 3, 2004 Uh oh. Humphrey Littleton has just cost me dear... I'd better come up with an idea for a prize then! Quote
Sue R Posted May 3, 2004 Posted May 3, 2004 Don't tell me you've never heard of Humphrey Lyttelton! And Gail - you look lovely, but not old enough to be my Mum, either! Sue Quote
Guest Posted May 3, 2004 Posted May 3, 2004 Thanks Sue. Isn't it great having a three day weekend? Having a lovely lazy day. Gail Quote
Verona Posted May 3, 2004 Author Posted May 3, 2004 Hi Trea A few days ago you asked where I'm from - I'm from West Sussex. We've been away for the weekend, got back today and after something to eat I'm straight back on the computer. This site is so addictive!!!! Got lots to catch up on. Sue J Quote
Guest Posted May 5, 2004 Posted May 5, 2004 I have just tried to get an avatar. Went onto site that sue had mentioned.. saved the croaking frog ( I happen to like them!!!!) and then went to select it from my picture file but a message came back from FS saying it wasnt acceptable!!!!! Its obviously something that I am doing wrong - but I dont know what!!! Tracy Quote
hali Posted May 5, 2004 Posted May 5, 2004 Hi Tracey Its not just you ive uploaded loads but can only get tigger to work!!!!! Quote
Guest Posted May 5, 2004 Posted May 5, 2004 Hi Hali, I was beginning to think I was going mad! Lots of you are saying you have been successful, following Sue's instructions - but it would not let me do it. There has to be something I am doing wrong!! Relatively speaking it isn't that important, but it is becoming a bit of an obsession now. I HAVE TO DO IT!! (sorry, I'm like this with most things - I can spend all day trying to achieve something totally unimportant!) Tracy Quote
hali Posted May 5, 2004 Posted May 5, 2004 i Konw ive tried downloading them smaller or making them smaller but they wont upload onto this site. My hubbys going mad he says im slowing the computer down with all my piccys ive tried to upload Quote
Steve Posted May 5, 2004 Posted May 5, 2004 Hi Tracy - If you can attach the file to a normal email and send it to me at steve@foundation-stage.info I'll try to find out what the problem is. Quote
