Apropos of nothing particular, my Mum’s care home has been making these, and I thought it would transfer to early years! I guess you’d need to make sure you took the stalk off first 🤭🤭😂😳

Yay! Happy birthday. I’ve been out since early doors at church coffee morning and fruit and cheese scones to bake first, so it went out of my mind to post! I did think about it last night though 🤭😊🥱 I hope you have a really fabulous day and there’s cake, fizz and lots of love xxx

I preferred this one, but there’s loads of different ones out there! Marriner yarns (where I got the yarn from as it’s sensibly priced and reasonable quality) have free patterns for knit and crochet poppies too.

We did it a few years ago. It was fabulous and looked incredible. Unfortunately, someone threw them all in the dustbin when they were taken down - well over 2500 poppies. I was devastated when I found out. Never found out if it was accidental or deliberate.

If you click on ‘menu’, it should offer you ‘forum.’ what device are you using? I’m on iPad and it says ‘forum’ in the too banner that has my name on it.

I said in one of the threads that my 9000th post would be to start a thread on things we have made ourselves that we are proud of. So it could be when you were doing a demo for a child to see what you meant (and thought, crikey, that's good!), or a cake you baked or something you knitted. Some sort of handicraft, anyway. So come on, let's have a bit of show and tell!
