Amazing total Sunnyday. I just think it’s a cause so close to literally everybody that people are always generous.

Mousketer have you had flooding where you are? Some places looked awful on the news this morning.

A sad Friday for me, as ‘Zebedee’ died in the early hours of Tuesday after his long fight against cancer in his bones, prostate and finally liver.  He was upbeat to the last and in control of what was happening.  He was at home and went peacefully, without the drama we had been forewarned could happen.  My best buddy at peace now.

Thank you all so, so much for the beautiful flowers which arrived this morning.   The little daisy card is so, so perfect, as that was his favourite flower.  He mowed round them in the lawn and even transplanted them to the flower beds when I wasn’t looking 🥰🥹

The picture doesn’t do them justice.  They’re actually white, but the light is rubbish today and my ‘warm white’ ceiling light makes them look slightly apricot coloured.  Lilies are opening already!

We’ve had quite good weather this week but my brother in Kent said the rain has been relentless.  Been gorgeous today but the rain has just started and meant to be here all week!  Will be digging those welly boots out me thinks!   Have a lovely weekend all.

I’m a bit late catching up here…

I’m so sorry to read about your loss Cait 😔 x

I found out this week that grandchild no2 is on the way next spring so excited about that and definitely took the edge off what has been a challenging work week 🤯

Good morning - 'tis Friday

Feeling a little 'delicate' this morning (for delicate read rough!) following Flu and Covid vaccinations yesterday - nothing too awful and glad to get some renewed protection...

Take care all x

Hope you're feeling better soon 🙁

Beautiful sunny day here today, cold but blue skies.

I just had my last strawberry from our pots today (there were a few but the squirrels got there first! 😂)

Have a good weekend everyone. x

Hope you soon feel better Sunnyday. Look after yourself. Well my youngest son is moving to London tomorrow, he’s so excited. I am however, an emotional mess!  Can’t believe both my boys have now grown and flown the nest. Just where does time go? Need to put my big girl pants on to say goodbye tomorrow!

Hope it passes soon sunnyday, guess I should book a flu one 😷

Thinking of you zigzag, be strong 😞 , you’ll have a reason to visit London,  and take in a show or two 🎶

Erm, I think we missed Friday 🤣🤭

I nearly always miss Friday! It's been a week of late nights and early starts for me but the end is in sight - just one more week to go! Nothing particular planned here this weekend although I did a lot of baking last weekend so am hoping for a fair bit of crafting this one. Today is meant to be a work day but right now I am feeling decidedly sleepy. I'm just trying to decide whether to write today off as a work day and make it tomorrow instead and just embrace a lazy day today.

Sunnyday, hope you're feeling a little better today?

Much better and firing on all cylinders again - thank you all for asking x

These vaccines are a necessary evil really - quite a bit of Covid in my little village just now - including my youngest son 🤦‍♀️ he is actually out the other side of it but still testing positive...

Flippin' Covid we have been living under it's shadow for too long.

I forgot to tell you that I am granddog sitting - our dear little Sprocker Spaniel - she is just the right size for my house (note to self: no, you don't need your own dog!) 🤣

I'm glad to hear that and as for Covid - I'm teaching about it in history lessons at the moment! Enjoy the granddog sitting! Getting my own dog still flits into my head from time to time. I decided to take today rather than tomorrow off - I'm too dopey to work today and everything will take far longer than it should.  Instead I'm being cosy - reading, watching cosy TV (Poirot at the moment) and contemplating crochet pumpkins...
