Now ofsted are giving us half a days notice before an inspection, has anyone had a call on a Friday lunchtime re an inspection on Monday?

Thanks

Now that is wishful thinking - I could knock up a few unwriiten policies, rehearse my FBVs speech and be able to quote Prevent backwards by Monday morning! ha ha.

Answer questions about the children?....What children?.... Far to busy for them!!

To be honest i'm glad we only had half a day...couldn't have coped with any longer ...spent the whole of the time feeling sick! And I reckon if you give yourself too much time then you will just overthink things.

It was clear in this inspection that you cant just pull something out of your ofsted bag it needs to be imbedded

One of the settings that I work out had their call just after lunch on a Friday - was a very long weekend!!

All went well though!

I agree with Finleysmaid too - been through two inspections since the new framework. Different inspectors, thorough and consistent which I was particularly interested to see.

Yes me too. I'll appreciate the half day notice but that will do I think. Any longer and I'd be a gibbering wreck by Monday morning, would have probably had no sleep and tried to do far too much!

HI,

Yes they do, our recent inspection we was informed on Friday lunch time saying they were coming first thing the following Monday!

Hope this helps.

Thank you and a very warm welcome to the forum :1b
