I am so eggcited (sorry couldn't resist). I went to candle the eggs this evening and found that they have both externally pipped (made a little crack in the shell). I am now watching the eggs wobble in the incubator when I should be getting ready for my Ofsted! Who cares!!! Not me. Well not today. ;) I can hear a tap tap tap in one egg and a little squeaking in the other. I hope they don't hatch in the night!

How wonderful. I must say hearing a chick "cheep" from within the shell is one of the most exciting moments ever!! I am very jealous!

this is one of the things I love about EY

even now we can all get so excited about the same things that excite the children..

and no matter how often we do it we still get excited about it..

does sound like they will hatch overnight though.. so jealous it was one thing we could never do.. most we managed was butterflies but they always excited us too..

eggsiting, surely ladies?

These are the kinds of things I miss. We never incubated eggs, but the excitement when the butterflies emerged was just brilliant.
