  1. might be taking you up on this as I can't even sew a button on and make it stay on - think my youngest son was only one who had his swimming badges stuck with that hemming stuff you iron on when he was little - put them on his swimming bag as gave up trying to sew them on his trunks, towel etc.,
  2. oooh - can you share please? I have made a fruit cake this morning and delivered it to my SIL as it is her birthday tomorrow - left it on the doorstep with a card and some flowers, rang the bell then stood back as she opened the door. She was very surprised and happy (more at the cake than me i think lol).
  3. I would think for a while yet as letting another adult into a setting will be a no no for everyone.
  4. can I work for you please?
  5. agree, and coming back would be a parents decision - I think some would want to leave it till September and others may want to come back before (if the decision is made for that) but it wouldn't be as before Covid - less children each time so would mean less sessions than previously less choice and more restrictions etc., to start with
  6. As others have said each setting is individual so the way they deal with this is going to be individual to them. the country does have to get back to work but it needs to ensure that this lock down isn't wasted by doing it too quickly - the likelihood of another spike is still there. It will be around for years to come but we need to know how to deal with it and have vaccines etc., to help.
  7. UK Nursery Covid-19 Response Group Recommendations is where I found this - was at the end of the other piece I sent so clicked on ti.
  8. GriffinOT has one on sensory processing disorder which you can watch for free (although to get certificate you will need to pay and watch another bit of video on dyspraxia) but you can access video this on youtube .)hope that makes sense) no certificate but great to watch anyway.
  9. https://famly.co/blog/covid-19/denmark-reopening-child-care-corona/ - hope that works - makes a very interesting read. also some information below. xx eyfs forum.pdf
  10. Does anyone have any good online CPD courses that are free to access please? Looked at OU but the courses were pretty boring . Have found a site where there are courses that are free to access which show you most of course but to access the rest and get a certificate you need to pay (hope that makes sense) but they are good to watch - GriffinOT is the site, well worth a look !!
  11. I am not sure many parents will want their children to return for last six weeks or so - in France many parents have chosen to home school their children for the last few weeks before the summer break rather than send their children back to school.
  12. but it's then trying to make sure they don't share that dough or put it together? what happens with things like small world etc., construction? How do we keep apart? what about nappy changes, toileting accidents etc.,?
  13. Boris did mention "early years" when he was talking about schools going back i am sure?
  14. well now I have finished my gardening I want something to do and wondered if anyone can recommend / give me some ideas on where to do some FREE online training please?
