zigzag Posted February 22, 2020 Posted February 22, 2020 Help, I a, having a mental block. I have a two year old on two year funding who turns three on the 7th April. Would he receive his 30 hours then or have to wait until the Autumn term?

Mouseketeer Posted February 23, 2020 Posted February 23, 2020 I’d also say September for 3yr funding (stay in 2 yr funding for Summer term), It surprises me how some chn get two yr funding then manage to meet 30hr criteria, I realize the 2yr funding stays in place regardless of changes to circumstances (don’t get me started on my thoughts about that!)

However I would check with you LA, I know a few Greater London LA's used to allow to claim from the May/June half term. Not sure if they still do though as times have changed, but it was to allow the summer borns more opportunites.
