Really hope it sorts itself before Thursday 🤞🤞 I’ve had great skin once I got over the teenage spots, then six months ago I noticed bumps, rashes and tiny blisters. I ignored it and thought it would go away but then it started flaring up and getting very red. I finally went to the doctors and this is what I was diagnosed with. I’ve done lots of reading about it since and It’s been a real eye opener. So many triggers! Basically you have to work out what triggers you! But I’ve seen a lot of photos and my goodness what an awful condition it is for some people. I put mine down to an increase in my HRT patches as it started then! 1 2 Quote

Cait Posted Wednesday at 08:55 Posted Wednesday at 08:55 (edited) Fabulous! What’s your clan tartan? Did you hire or own? We bought our son a new kilt and kit for his wedding and it was well into four figures back then in 2014! He’s had loads of wear out of it, living as he does in Fife. Graduations, weddings, big group get togethers - any opportunity. He’s put on a bit of weight these days though sadly, from his wedding 22” waist ( or less, can’t remember) so I’m going to have to move the leathers a bit. Edited Wednesday at 08:57 by Cait 1 Quote
zigzag Posted Wednesday at 18:58 Posted Wednesday at 18:58 It’s just the Cornish tartan. They hired them. When they first told me that’s what they were doing I was not convinced but they all looked fantastic. 1 1 Quote

sunnyday Posted 13 hours ago Author Posted 13 hours ago Good morning - 'tis Friday Goodness another week has just flown by. We had some 'excitement' here on Saturday when a friend who was very kindly delivering some wood for Mr S (wood for carving) managed to reverse his van straight into our little shed 🤦♀️ never mind - no-one hurt that is the important bit - shed has been fixed up...van hmm not too sure... We enjoyed a family get together for youngest son's birthday on Sunday which was just lovely. Hasn't the weather been beautiful although it is chilly and overcast today. Looking forward to watching youngest granddaughter in a drama school performance on Sunday - it is titled 'Dare to Dream' - should be good! Hope that the weekend is kind to all x 1 Quote
louby loo Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Morning all. Funny old week here, had a few ups and downs - but ended on a good note. 😁 I am pleased to say- I have not been stuck in one traffic jam since the end oflast October (on my 2x 3 miles, 3 times a week- term time only journeys 🤣) I know this because this Sunday mroning the clock in my car will be now be correct! I only bother changing it if I'm stuck in traffic and bit bored 🤷♀️ 1 1 Quote

zigzag Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Been a good week weather wise here as well. Long may it continue. Just need it to warm up so can start sowing some seeds and digging the allotment over. Can’t wait. Am a very thankful lady today. I had to attend a breast cancer centre yesterday for some tests which was scary but thanking my lucky stars that it’s only cysts and nothing sinister. Been a worrying two week wait (grateful that the wedding was a distraction) But how privileged are we to have such an amazing NHS service. Hope everyone has a lovely weekend. 1 1 Quote

Phew - thank goodness for that x I found myself on 'the two week' pathway last year - this for suspected bladder cancer - I had planned my funeral 🤦♀️ what a nutcase I am - I had a CT scan and then a cystoscopy (not a nice experience) and was given the 'all clear' - the relief was just amazing. 1 Quote
zigzag Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I agree Sunnyday the relief is huge! Sounds silly but you don’t realise until afterwards just how much the worry has been crushing you. Literally felt two stone lighter when I walked out (I wish). 1 1 Quote
