Froglet Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 We have audit in school next week and I was going to make cake for those involved. As a way of making people smile a little during a stressful time I wanted to make it appropriate. My first thought for audit was millionnaire's shortbread. Any other bright ideas? 1 Quote
finleysmaid Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 I was going to make some reference to it needing to be made on a budget.....but it's too early for bad jokes! 3 Quote
SueJ Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Should it be in the shape of a clipboard and pen? 1 Quote
Panders Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 (edited) how about money growing on trees - seems to be where we are supposed to get it all from these days. Seriously though, don't really know - my mum used to make a "pound cake" but I think that had something to do with the amount of ingredients in it! How are your icing skills - could you make a cheque book with a cheque to the school for umpteen billions? A piggy bank cake with choccie coins surrounding it? Just had a look at pinterest, they have lots of "money" decorating ideas for the american "tax day". Cake pops might be good, or iced shortbread biscuits Edited July 8, 2015 by Panders 1 Quote
mundia Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 I was trying to imagine what a supportive cake would look like... What kind of audit is it? 1 Quote
Froglet Posted July 8, 2015 Author Posted July 8, 2015 Lovely ideas everyone - thank you! Mundia - it's an audit of all sorts of things - financial, systems, links to governor minutes etc etc etc. Quote
