johnthesoundman
How do you do self-registration etc etc....boards with names/pictures etc to stick on? If so, what sort of boards do you use, and what adhesive do you use to stick the names on....I've tried velcro..comes off, now trying magnets on magnetic white boards and they come off too (tried all sorts of techniques to attach magnets to the back of laminated labels)???!!!! Ideas please? Thanking you kindly in advance!!
Joanne123
We use laminated photos with Velcro on felt (??) notice board, never had any trouble with coming off!
Fredbear
We use laminated name card with Velcro on. Other Velcro is attached in large strips on to a mobile whiteboard trolley. Works well for us.

Inge
laminated card with self adhesive magnetic strips cut to the size we want and a magnetic board.. we used to use velcro and bought self adhesive squares and that worked well on a cloth board, swapped to magnets as the children took them home at end of the year and parents liked to stick them on the fridge.. both worked with no issues.. maybe it was because we were buying a self adhesive one .. Or you could try gorilla glue for sticking the bits to the back.. found that works for almost anything.. Edited June 5, 2015 by Inge
lashes2508
Our children make their own choosing which pictures to put on , with their name , on the other side is their name , I can read my own name and no pictures and a label with the sessions they attend. They are laminated , they were going in pockets with key person photo on to help them and parents , redesigned board so they just put them in a basket at moment. lsp
Same as Fred bear - velcro on end of unit in cloakroom. We use coloured 'teddies' - different colour for each key group.
Chrissie
We post laminated name cards into a post box ! For the younger children a sticker (fairy , truck , pepper pig etc) put next to name to help with recognition . We also used to put laminated apples with childs picture on a tree when they went outside but with soooooo many children now this has not been possible .
