New code of practice April 2015

shame they couln't have told us that the last one would only be in place for a few months before the next version is required. I might have then chosen to print only the EY sections rather than the whole flipping document, which of course I will now need to print again!! Also , is the parents guide going to be upated as well?

have just googled some more and found an old consultation that talks about the changes being proposed for the April 2015 COP. The annex at the end sets out the changes (i think!!)

It's just updated guidance on support for children and young people in youth custody, the early years chapter remains the same, details are here:

Local Authority interpretations of the SEND Code of Practice are mixed, to say the least! IPSEA is a great charity which can advise parents on their legal rights, details here: https://www.ipsea.org.uk/
