I was studying "Of Mice and Men" back in 1974 for my O levels....all 5 of my sons have studied it since and are studying it for this years GCSE's.

When is the next General Election?

when oh when will politicians leave teaching and curriculum up to those who actually understand and deliver it...ie then teachers!! I'd hate the health minister to start to meddle in my heath care in the same way that Gove meddles with education!!

Oh dear... My reading of this article , related articles and subsequent reaction has just led my daughter to ask me what 'twit' means, except the vowel was different.

God forbid the youth of today should get any ideas about socially equal society, fairness, civil rights, racism and power. it might affect how they vote in the future. How is this idiot man allowed to dictate the art and culture that our children will experience based on his own whims and fancies? Put this alongside the new history curriculum and we can expect our children to be inward looking, small-minded UKIP voters. Long live the Empire. Rah, rah!!!
