CIN 2013 - Lie to Me!

This is our Lie to Me thread for this year's Children in Need. The rules of the game are very simple :1b

 

  • You post 3 things about yourself, 2 of the things should be true and one a lie (they don't have to be earth shattering facts - anything will do ;) )
  • Other members will try to guess which is the lie
  • After several people have had guesses (leave it for at least an hour and let 5 or 6 people have guesses :P ) then come back and reveal all
  • If you would like to post but are not able to stay around to reveal the correct answer then pm me (or Maz later in the evening) so that we can do it for you
  • Post as many times as you like and have as many guesses as you like :D

I shall be out this morning but I'll get started by posting. I shall be back at lunchtime to see if anyone has had a guess :1b Please feel free to post your own one as well!

When I was 4 years old

  1. I got lost at Windsor Great Park but a bunch of hippies helped me to find my mum and dad
  2. I got lost on our first evening at Butlins and decided to walk back to our chalet by myself
  3. I got lost at Heathrow airport but my mum didn't notice until it was announced over the tannoy

I am going to add mine too (well one of mine should things get too quiet), but Ill not be back until later on to give out the answers.

Here are my 3: one is a lie

  1. I have a black belt in judo
  2. I appeared in the Queen video for Radio Gaga.
  3. Mr Mundia's very first words to me were 'so you're going to be my wife then?'

Which one is my lie :D

I'm going to say No 1 is the lie for Beau

Sorry eggwoman you are incorrect....sadly I have travelled on a horse in Canada and had the sore bottom to prove it for days....managed to survive a trip on a camel in Lanzarote although I don't mind if I never climb aboard another one ever....the one I have not done is the elephant although I would really love to so must save my pennies and hope one day I find myself sat on the back of an ellie somewhere :D ::1a

I'll guess No 2 for this - with a black belt in judo Mr Mundia maybe didn't have any other choice ;)

I'll go for Manchester although I have no idea!

 

 

Do remember to let a few people have a guess before revealing your answer though!

We're all going on a Summer Holiday.......sorry Cliff came to mind there........nope I don't think you have ever driven a Double Decker - you may eaten a few.......(choc bars not buses that is :blink: )

Sunnyday you have loads of claims so my guesses for you are

You didn't get to be Cinders

You didn't study history

I can't see you delivering a "Whatever" line

Hmmm - punk rocker - yep I reckon that could well be true! :rolleyes:

Nuclear sub - reckon that's true - can't imagine why you would have thought of it otherwise :blink: xD

So - that leaves the old mountaineering - I don't think you've climbed Snowdon - you might have taken the train? ;)
