becsltd
I have the lovely task of writing a policy statement for the 2 year old Progress Checks. Does anybody have one that I can look over? I am working on a Foundation Stage Policy at the moment taking into account the changes on EYFS so I will be happy to share that in return when finished!!! Looking forward to hearing from somebody who may be able to help. Many thanks
Guest
Not got a policy for the 2 year checks but ahve added it to my registration form and parent contract. Do we need a policy as well? but then I haven't got one for the Foundation stage either.

Stargrower
I worked out that we would have to review at least 3 policies in every staff meeting to cover them all in a year...and they're meant to be 'working documents'...no more please! That doesn't help you though becsltd. I guess a policy statement only needs to be brief so maybe the purpose of the progress check at 2, the role that your setting has and what is expected from parents? Good luck!
