Rea Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 I've just read it on the BBC site. Such an awful thing for everyone. Very sad Quote
eyfs1966 Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Just an unimaginable nightmare.......so so tragic. Quote
Cait Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Yes, a total nightmare. Her first session too Quote
Gezabel Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 My heart goes out to all involved but especialy the child's family. Bless her heart may she rest in peace. Quote
HappyMaz Posted September 18, 2012 Posted September 18, 2012 Such a tragedy for the little girl's family, my heart goes out to them. Also the staff in the setting will be understandably very shocked and in need of support in the wake of the investigations that will need to happen now. This is one of the things that used to keep me awake in the wee small hours - a child getting injured at my setting (or escaping). I really hope it was just a tragic accident that no-one could reasonably have foreseen. What a truly dreadful day. Quote
sunnyday Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 So very sad and as Maz said the sort of thing that keeps me awake at night........... Quote
Rea Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 I hope others take a sensible approach to this and dont suddenly turn their outdoor areas into cotton wool padded safe areas though and I hope the rope was part of the equipment and not something left around. Quote
