Ok so tell me.......

why is that i put clean cutlery in a clean drawer and it still gets messy?

and

Why when i put a pair of socks in the wash do i always end up with odd ones in the basket?

and

why cars break down at the beginning of a holiday weekend...the only weekend of the year when you can't get them fixed?

ho hummm! -_-

I agree its a mystery. I've got a carrier bag full of odd socks which once a week gets tipped out on my bed in the hope some of them match the most recent ones to come out of the washing machine. Some of them have been there a very long time, but I'm loath to throw them out because the other one will be bound to appear shortly afterwards.

I to am an odd sock wearer.. as is my son.. drives my husband mad as his have to be closely matched.. and my sons partner is much the same..hates it but now has resigned herself to just throwing all his socks in a drawer and letting him get on with it..

I do know where his comes from.. when he was a tot the fashion was fluorescent odd coloured socks.. . and he never changed from the odd sock syndrome..

and mine... the need to use all those odd socks..

waste not want not..

and

why my family can find the top of the dishwasher but seem incapable of opening it and putting things in it!!

I used to have a notice above my bin 'If nothing will fit in the bin, it's full'.

No-one seems able to open the laundry basket on the landing either

Oh, yes, the magic fairies...where would we be without them?

Hubby: Where is that fresh loaf of bread, you know the lovely one you go today.

Me: Its there I just had a slice

Hubby: I was going to ask how you managed to eat it all..I cannot see it.

5 mins later Hubby: I cannot find it, Ill have crackers then!

I walk into the kitchen and there sat on the bread board next to where he did his crackers sits the loaf of bread!
