Guest Wolfie Posted October 22, 2008 Share Posted October 22, 2008 (edited) At a staff training day on Friday, I have been given the unenviable task of running a short session designed to refresh the staff's working knowledge of our policies and procedures. Even worse, I've been given the "graveyard" slot, straight after lunch. I'm thinking that I need to make it light-hearted and snappy really and have decided that maybe I should do some kind of team quiz with spot prizes, giving them 15 minutes or so to "revise" beforehand. Has anyone done this sort of thing before with their staff...or has anyone got any better ideas for the session?? At first everyone groaned, but it was good for getting people finding their way through the papers, discussing and working together. In the end they all agreed it was fun! Actually we're having a "pink" auction over lunch to raise money for Breast Cancer Research so we'll all be busy putting our hands in our pockets!
