zigzag
Is the book Can I go and play now? Worth buying. Just wondered what people think of it before I buy.
sunnyday
I haven't come across this - (note to self: you have no budget, do not be even looking for this book )
zigzag
It’s had really good reviews on a Facebook page for EYFS. But I have done this before, purchased the book and found it not relevant. And as you say money is tight!

Panders
Have you looked on Amazon, they sometimes show pages of books as a little taster Franky the title suggests that the children are not playing enough and consider what they are being asked to do is "work" and not fun and not play - not sure I would bother with it I'm Sure you are wise enough Zigzag and have been distinguishing between both for a long time. Stargrower
The reviews I read said that it was more aimed at schools than EY settings. I guess it's advice is that teachers shouldn't be taking children away from play to complete adult led "work". But I haven't read it!
